Factors affecting high-tech agriculture in Vietnam

The society is increasingly developing, so (hence, therefore, thus) applying science and
technology to many different fields is also indispensable to achieve high efficiency and
productivity. The field of high-tech agriculture is no exception. In Vietnam, the
application of high technology to agricultural production has brought great benefits such
as: increasing the output of agricultural products, meeting the increasing food needs of
society...In addition to these positive influences, there are also factors affecting high-tech
agriculture such as: large-scale agricultural production; using large capital and high-
quality human resources.

Firstly, large-scale agricultural production will have a high-quality agricultural impact.

Vietnam is still not a country with clear developments in science and technology,
modern machines and equipment are mainly purchased from abroad. If large-scale
agricultural production without sufficient capital as well as highly skilled labor, it will
bring great losses to businesses and investors.

Secondly, meeting large capital for high-tech agriculture is not easy. As I mentioned
above, Vietnam almost has to buy scientific achievements and modern machines from
abroad that requires a large amount of money. In addition, training workers to use those
modern machines also requires a lot of costs. The mobilization of large capital from
many different investors is difficult, so it should be used effectively.

Thirdly, one of the factors that play a very important role in applying technology to
agriculture is high-quality human resources. If the labor force doesn’t have advanced
skills, the procurement of modern machines and equipment is just useless. Investing in
high-quality agriculture takes a lot of resources such as: large capital, large land
resources, abundant raw materials, .. so it is necessary to have a skilled labor force to turn
those inputs into high-quality products.

Overcoming the negative effects will make Vietnam's high-quality agriculture rise to a
new level, contributing to the growth of the economy.
