INSTRUCTION

By using BlenderTM, design your dream house using basic and combination of geometric
primitives that you have learned in Chapter 1 and Chapter 2 (Part 1). You should now be able to:

1. Use your creativity to design the house. Since we are using BlenderTM, designing in
3D is necessary. You may add/design 2D objects too if that is your preference.
2. Set a series of coordinates to create the house geometry. You may produce measurements
that replicate the real-world object size.
3. Apply different colors or textures for background and related geometric objects that represent
the house and its surroundings.
4. Once completed, you MUST submit your work individually by 30 OCTOBER 2021
(11.59pm). You are required to:
a. Prepare the report in Microsoft Word / PDF format.

b. ii) Slacker Cottage
-This minimalistic house is build for people who love to take life simply and enjoy the
day in a life as it were. It is not a luxurious piece of home yet serves enough for one to
appreciate the meaning of life. It is a perfect home for people who take things easily and
not too influenced by its surrounding. The use of ‘Cottage’ amplify the location of the
home that located in a more rural area instead of the city.

iii) Step-by-step Procedures

1. Turn on the ‘Add Mesh: Archimesh’ in the prefences section. This will allow user to
access script of pre-made house parts.

2. Use ‘Add’ button and add a ‘Room’. Using the create tool, add amount of walls that
is needed and set its scale

3. ‘Add’ another part using the Archimesh, this time the door. Using the same toolbar,
adjust the door based on desired design.

4. ‘Add’ a ‘Window Panel’ and put it in the desired room.

5. Repeat those steps based on planned layout of rooms, door and windows panel.

6. Click on each room, and access the toolbar to add ‘Floor’ and ‘Ceiling’.

7. Using the Archimesh pack, add ‘Roof’.
