SUBJECT : Submission of THE BGEN RAFAEL T CRAME BALANGAY


AWARDS

a. LOI Santinig;
b. LOI Sambayan;
c. Signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between and among
Public Safety and Loan Association, Inc. (PSSLAI), Association of
Chiefs of Police of the Philippines, Inc. (ACPPI), and the Philippine
National Police (PNP) dated October 9, 2017; and
d. Memo re- The Search for 2018 Outstanding PNP Units in PCR (THE
BGEN RAFAEL T CRAME BALANGAY AWARD) Approved by C,
PNP dated November 16, 2018 with Barcode A040108.

2. The Philippine National Police, through the Police Community


Relations Group, has recently launched THE BGEN RAFAEL T CRAME BALANGAY
AWARDS at the Multi-Purpose Center, Camp BGen Rafael T Crame, Quezon City
on November 29, 2018.

3. The objectives of the said award are the following:

a. To give due recognition to the PNP Offices/Units which unselfishly


support and contribute in the implementation of the PNP Program
and Thrust, with their contributions most palpable at the grassroots,
the barangays;
b. To create a noticeable good image of the PNP in the eyes of the
general public and to strengthen that positive public perception, in
effect, espousing Pulis na Respetado, Responsible at Disiplinado;
c. To strengthen the morale of the men and women in uniform in the
performance of their sworn duties; and
d. To create a harmonious and effective and effective police-community
partnership in the maintenance of peace and order and public safety,
underscoring relevance of the Peace and Order Councils, Provincial,
City, Municipal and Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Council as deemed
applicable, and a vibrant Recovery and Wellness program.
4. THE BGEN RAFAEL T. CRAME BALANGAY AWARDS is open to
Police Provincial Offices, Municipal Police Stations and City Police Stations
nationwide. A total of 20 finalists shall be chosen among PNP Unit-Nominee and a
total of 10 PNP Unit will be chosen as winners of the prestigious award – three
Outstanding Police Provincial Office (PPO) – this includes City Police Office within
NCR which is deemed equal to a PPO, three Outstanding City Police Stations, and
four Outstanding City Police Station, and four Outstanding Municipal Police Stations.

5. Each winner of the BGEN RAFAEL T CRAME BALANGAY AWARDS


will receive a cash prize amounting to Php 400,000.00 each from PSSLAI and THE
BGEN RAFAEL T. CRAME BALANGAY AWARD Trophy form ACPPI. Non-winning
finalists, on the other hand, will receive PHP 200,000.00 cash prize each and
Certificate from PSSLAI.

8. Packaging and Documentation 5%
TOTAL 100%

7. In this regard, you are directed to submit your nominees for the
following; all PPOs, One (1) MPS per PPO and Baguio City Police Office and One
(1) City Police Station. Further, Submit to this Unit NLT January 23, 2019 thru
email using the attached Guidelines. Please see attached registration form.
