SOCIAL MEDIA

1. What is the impact of social media on doing business?

You can interact with your customers on social media and learn what
people are saying about your company. Social media can also be used for
mobile applications, giveaways, and advertising. Specifically, it can help a
business to:
● Entice clients, solicit their input, and foster their loyalty
● Enlarge your business reach to include global markets
● Minimize marketing expenses by conducting market research
● Establishing customer networks and advertising to boost sales
● Boost your brand
● Share concepts to enhance how you conduct business
● Hire qualified personnel, such as through employment networking
sites like LinkedIn
● Increasing website traffic and raising search engine rankings
● Watch out for your rivals
2. Should people be taught to be cautious about what they post online? Should
children/parents get special training on this?
Individuals should exercise caution when publishing on social media.
Using social media is acceptable, but posting without thinking can result in
issues and/or drama. Revealing personal information and going over the
pale is not nice, because others can find all of your information, including
where you reside. There are crimes and occurrences of kidnapping,
murders, and all kinds of different awful things that you could never
fathom. People should get special training on this, however, it shouldn’t be
anything serious. The information on different platforms can only teach so
much and the impact a personal experience has is different from merely
reading an article on a website.
3. Does social media promote or harm real-life communication?
People now have too easy access to the internet in general and social
media in particular. There is little hope of having a meaningful
conversation because it has made language sloppy and made people
uninterested in meeting up in person. Individuals have begun to lose their
capacity for effective communication, which is evidence of the
overwhelming grip social media has over their life. In general, social media
can be helpful if used sensibly and in the right quantity. So, it is simple to
conclude that, at the current time, social media has far more detrimental
effects than positive ones on society.
