Case NO.1:
I will ask them for reason that why are they getting training and will it be helpful for our
company? If it will be beneficial to our company then I will pay for them to atteend training. If it
makes our company grow then it will be a big yes!

Case NO.2:
I will ask the reason behind pro-bono work. If the reason will be valid I will allow them to work
on it. But there is a point if they will focus on pro-bono work in office time then there is a threat
of delay in my routine office work and I may suffer lose. If there will be no delay in my routine
office work and employee don’t ask me for extra salary. I will definitely allow them to do a pro-
bono work.

Case NO.3:
Being a professional it is not a good habit to use pirated software. We should purchase softwares
for usage as if client figure it out we may lose our reputation. Morover, if our files on pirated
software goes currpted. We won’t be able to fix it at all as owner of software is not responsible
for damage on pirated softwares. So, I will tell above threats to owner to convince him not to use
pirated software

Assignment NO.2

Case NO.1:
Ali has violated a law as he used sources without permission of other company. Which is
violation of Intellectual Property Law. If ali needed to use he must have asked for permission to
use source code then mention in documentation. It will also ruin a company’s reputition as they
developed a software by utilizing someone else’s intellectual property.
Case NO.2:
There is a threat of data leakage as system will not be that secure. Aisha should try her best to
convince clients about this security issue. If clients get agree then Aisha should develop it.
Otherwise Aisha should not develop this product as being professional one should always prefer
to develop a quality product. Also, if aisha builts a less secure system and client use it to store his
customer’s information then there is a threat of data leakage of people. So, she should refuse to
develop a less secure system.
