A. Preliminary Activities
1. Prayer
2. Weather – Ask: Can you tell what is the weather today?
3. Health Check
Did you take a bath today?
Did you cut your nails?
Did you comb your hair?
Did you brush your teeth?
4. Warm-up –

B. Analysis
1. Preparation
Bring the pupils outside the classroom.
Ask: What plants do you see around?
Encourage each one to answer.
2. Developmental Activities
Put puzzle pieces under the pupil’s chairs, let pupils get the puzzle piece
and let them stand in front of the class holding it.
Let each pupil stick the puzzle piece on the board.
Ask: What do you think is in the picture?
What can you say about the picture?

3. Discussion
Talk about the basic parts a plant and its uses.
Teacher will post the name of the parts beside their appropriate place.

C. Abstraction
Post two picture of plants on the board.
Ask learners individually about the picture.
Ask: What do you see in the board?
Can you tell the parts of plant A? How about plant b?

D. Application
Teacher will give a picture of a plant then the pupils will label its parts.

IV. Evaluation
Identify the basic parts of the plant.
Match the parts to its correct name.

Find a plant at home. Draw it then label its parts.
