Electronic Frost Protection Thermostat

Type ELTC 05-Frostcontrol

The electronic temperature controller ELTC 05-Frostcontrol is

designed for use as an ambient thermostat and surface thermostat
with remote sensor. Cable glands and terminals are provided for
power input. The unit is supplied in a weather proof plastic enclo-
sure for wall mounting, with a grey cover.

The controller should be protected from direct sunlight when used

outdoors. In case of use as ambient temperature controller, the
sensor cable is shortened to allow fastening of the sensor sleeve Electronic tempeature controller
within the M12 gland. The sleeve should project by approximately • Type ELTC 05 Frostcontrol, switching point +3°C (set
15 mm. point)

Advantages: Function
• Weather proof If the sensed temperature is lower than the adjusted set point,
• Fixed switching set point the relay contact closes and the heating switches on.

Applications: Special desings available - just ask us !

• Heat tracing for frost protection
• Can be used as ambient and surface thermostat
• Suitable for resistance heating lines and self-regulating heating
cables.

Electronic Temperature Contoller
Type ELTC-14

The ELTC-14 is an electronic temperature controller with digi-

tal display for wall mounting. The temperature is measured by
a Pt 100 sensor, processed by the microcontroller and dis-
played. After having evaluated the actual and preset values,
the appropriate output relays are switched, depending on the
configuration.

Cable glands and terminals are provided for the power con-
nection. The unit is supplied in a weather proof plastic enclo- Sensors and display: It is possible to use two types of sensors,

Min/max adjustment
PULSER is an electric heating controller with triac control for When min/max limiting of supply air temp. is required, use PUL-
single phase or two phase electric heating. SER-M.
Intended primarily for wall mounting, it is connected in series
between a power supply and electric heater; such as an
electric heating battery or electric panel.
PULSER has a built-in temperature controller featuring
external sensor input, where the sensor can for instance be
mounted in a room or a supply-air duct. For control of room
temperature, the on-board sensor built into PULSER may be
used.
The controller uses time-proportional control, where the On-
time and Off-time ratio is varied to fit the prevailing heating
requirement. E.g. ON = 30 s and OFF = 30 s gives 50%
output power. The cycle-time (ie: combined on-/ off-time) is
fixed at approx. 60s.
This contributes to greater energy savings and to the incre-
ased comfort that an even temperature brings with it. Since
the current is switched by semiconductor (triac), there are no
moving parts that can wear out. Network disturbances are
also eliminated, as the current is switched at a zero phase
angle.
PULSER automatically adapts its control mode to suit the
dynamics of the controlled object.

The controller pulses the entire power output ON/OFF.
The controller utilises time-proportional control, the ratio

This control accuracy contributes to reduced energy costs

Supply air temperature control

TTC63F is a 3-phase controller intended for timeproportional of TTC63F, the load can be divided and controlled by use of

The controller is capable of controlling both D- and TTC63F. Slave control of one or more TTC25X / TTC40FX units
Y-connected loads. via the TTC63F is also possible.
• 3-phase 400 V AC +/- 10%, max. 43 kW
• PI-control for supply air control and P-control for room control External control signal
• Can be controlled with external 0...10V control signal TTC63F can also be run against a 0...10 V DC control signal
• For DIN-rail mounting from another controller. 0 V input signal will give 0 % output
• Settable min. and max. limitation and 10 V input will give 100 % output.
• Adjustable cycle time Minimum and maximum limit functions are not active when
using an external control signal.

TTC63F is a 3-phase triac controller for control of electric heaters.

The device is connected in series between the power supply and
an electric heater or radiator.
TTC63F has a temperature controller with inputs for sensors pla-
ced, for instance, in a supply air duct or room.
It can also be controlled using an external control signal.
The controller utilises stepless, time-proportional control.
I.e.: the ratio between on-time and off-time is varied in order to fit
the present heating requirement.
Example: A controller output of 50 % will equal an on-time of 30 s
and an off-time of 30 s if the cycle time is 60 s. The cycle time is
adjustable 6...120 s.
Triac control is considerably more accurate than on/off control,
meaning increased heating comfort and lowered energy costs.
TTC63F has a built-in function for automatically adaptating the
control mode as needed:

Supply air control

For rapid temperature changes, the supply air controller will func-
tion as a PI-controller. The P-band will be 20K with an I-time of 6
minutes.

Room temperature control

For slower temperature changes, the room controller will function
as a P-controller. The P-band will be 1.5K. The supply air controller
will retain the same settings as before. During room temperature
control, the supply air temperature can be provided with a min. or
max. limitation.
