INSTRUCTIONS FOR REMOTELY PROCTORED ONLINE EXAM

Due to Covid19 pandemic, you can take your LPUNEST exam in the comfort of your home while being
monitored by our proctor. Kindly read the following requirements, steps and instructions carefully for
successfully appearing in the exam.

Computer/Smartphone, Browser and connectivity Requirements

The remote proctoring module needs the following system configuration and requirements.

The remote proctoring software streams exam data, including audio and video, directly to the
cloud as you take the exam. In order to allow the continuous transfer of exam data, you need to
maintain a minimum connection speed of 1 Mbps. We recommend you to verify your connection
speed using an internet speed test before starting an exam.

1. Steps to start online exam

Please follow the steps mentioned below to start the test.
a) At first, enter https://myexam.lpu.in/ URL in your Laptop or Smartphone browser. Also in
your registered email ID you can click on “Start Test” button which will route you to the
exam window as shown below.
b) Now, enter your LPUNEST login credentials.

c) After entering your login credentials, you need to click on “Tests” as shown below.

e) Now, on next page, the system will validate Environment check. The system will scan
Operating System, Browser, Audio, Webcam and Microphone as shown below.

2. LPUNEST Remote Proctoring Online exam rules

Applicants appearing for LPUNEST online exam must adhere to the following
instructions.
a) Before the start or in the midst of the exam, you will be asked to show the
surroundings. You will be required to provide a 360-degree view of the room in
which you are taking the proctored exam and a scan of the area above and
under your desk or table.
b) Do not look sideways during the exam. Non-adherence of the same will lead to
cancellation of the exam after 3 warnings.

c) For the entire duration of the exam, please remain seated in front of your
webcam. In case you found leaving your seat during the exam, your exam will
be cancelled.
d) Do not try to cover your camera or unplug the external camera from the system.

e) You are not allowed to touch the keyboard while you are attempting your exam.
You are only allowed to scroll cursor with mouse to answer the question.
*Keyboard will be used only to enter Numeric Value for Fill in the Blank type
questions if applicable.

f) Do not try to navigate away from the exam screen. Doing so will automatically
terminate your exam.
g) No other person is allowed to enter the room while you are taking the proctored
exam
h) The lighting in the room must be bright enough to be considered “daylight”
quality. Overhead lighting is preferred. If overhead lighting is not available, the
source of light must not be behind you.

i) You must sit before a clean desk or table.

j) The desk or walls around you must not have any writing.

k) The room must be as quiet as possible. Sounds such as music or television are
not permitted.
l) The following items must not be on your desk or used during your proctored
exam such as books, papers, pens, gadgets, calculators, notebooks, eatables
etc.
