Guidelines for Passengers

• The time may change in case of bad weather or scheduling of helicopters.
• In case any stay is required at Kedarnath, Badrinath or Dehradun (Other than mention) for
bad weather it will be borne by the customer.
• Flying is subject to covid guidelines/ Uttarakhand Civil aviation .
• Pooja & Aarti are controlled by Mandir Samiti and the same will be performed according to
them.
• At high altitudes, helicopters must adhere to severe weight restrictions.
• Passengers weighing more than 75 kg would be charged Rs 1000 each kilogramme in excess
of 75 kg. If a group of two or more passengers has an average weight of 75 kilograms, no
further costs will be applied.
• Pilot decisions will be treated as final on all issues related to flying
• ONLY 5 kgs baggage per passenger is permitted in helicopter

Terms and Caonditions

• Helicopters have strict weight restriction at high
altitudes. Passengers weighing above 75 kgs will be
charged Rs 1000 per kg over and above 75 kgs. If 2
or more passengers in a group have average weight
of 75 Kgs then extra charges will not be applicable.
• Passengers are advised to mention correct weight
in booking form. If weight is found incorrect at the
time of travel pilot has the right to deny boarding to
the passenger.
• Helicopters’ have limited weight carrying
capacity, to manage the weight for safe flying in
the hills, we might have to shuffle passengers
between helicopters Therefore, as per Pilot’s
recommendation passengers travelling together
may not be accommodated in same helicopter
flight.
• The quality of accommodation we are providing at
Sersi and Badrinath is 03 to 04 star. For Pilgrims
travelling to Kedarnath we recommend night stay at
Sersi near helipad at “Tailwind Resort”. Beautifully
designed Rooms and Cottages with Great Food and
all modern amenities.
*Note: Stay at Kedarnath can be arranged on Special
request at extra charges.
• The Helicopter Schedule mentioned in the
Itinerary is Fixed. However, Helicopter flying in
hills is dependent on many factors like weather etc.
Sometimes we may have to change the timings due
to Operational and Technical reasons.
• Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner are included in all
hotels. At Dehradun hotel only Dinner and Breakfast
is included in the package. Any extras will have to
 be paid directly by guest.
• Only 5 Kg baggage per passenger will be permitted. Passengers are advised not to carry big suitcases as there
is very small baggage space inside helicopter. Passengers bringing excess baggage might not be allowed to take
the same in the chopper by pilot.
• For a separate single occupancy room, extra charges will be INR 15,000/person (Inclusive of Taxes).
• Children above the age of 2 years will be considered full ticket .
• There is no provision of concession to children or senior citizens
• Rescheduling of booking to a next date will be done subject to availability and on payment of 10% of the cost.
This will be permitted only if applied 7 days before journey date. In case the rescheduling is requested with less
than 7 days to the journey then booking will be treated as cancelled and a fresh booking will be given subject to
availability.
• Payment Terms: Bookings to be done in advance with a deposit of 50% of the charter amount, and the balance
payment has to be deposited 07 days prior to the date of arrival in Dehradun.
• CANCELLATION POLICY: If passengers wish to cancel their booking, then they will have to pay following
cancellation charges
u Upto 28 days before journey ---- 10% of total Package cost
u Between 28 Days to 14 Days Before Journey ---- 20% of total Package cost
u Between 14 Days to 07 Days Before Journey ---- 30% of total Package cost
u Between 07 Days to 03 Days Before Journey ---- 50% of total Package cost
u Less than 3 Days before journey ---- 100% of total Package cost
• BAD WEATHER SITUATION: If we are stuck in a bad weather situation on any particular day out of the 2 days,
we will still try to finish the Darshan on next day. Suppose there is bad weather on 1st day and we are unable to
fly to Kedarnath then we will try and do both Kedarnath and Badrinath on 2nd day. In case we are completely
unable to visit any dham due to bad weather situation we will refund proportionate money.
• In case of bad weather if the stay gets extended beyond 2 nights, then passengers will have to bear the cost of
additional night stay. Cost applicable for Additional night stay will be INR 5000 Per person per Night.
