2.6 Statistical Measurements of Distance Learning

In a study conducted by Al-Balas, M. et.al (2020), they conducted a study that wanted to
understand the current situation, challenges and perspectives of distance learning in clinical medical
education amid the COVID-19 pandemic in Jordan. This study primarily focused on medical students in
their clinical years and the use of questionnaires was used as the primary method of obtaining data
for this study. The study resulted with a total of 652 students that have completed the questionnaire,
and among them, 538 students or 82.5% have participated in distance learning in their medical
schools amid COVID-19. This statement of the result further supports the statistical measurements of
distance learning to be remarkably high amid the COVID-19 pandemic. However, its satisfactory rate
in medical distance learning was 26.8% which was high as these medical students are aimed to do
