I have found that one of the most challenging decision is the career choice. An unthoughtful
decision might put us in a tight spot in the future. I have chosen the career of Chemical
Engineering after thoughtful analysis and planning to search for the abilities and the
aptitude I possess and I am confidence of success in this endeavor.
I did my bachelors in Chemical Engineering from University Of Engineering And Technology
Lahore. I believe pursuing a Master’s degree in the field of Chemical Engineering would give
me a perfect chance to test and unwind the complexities of my field and accomplish my
objectives with greater flexibility and freedom.
My Bachelor studies were comprehensive and provided me with broad view of the
fundamentals of engineering, I have a desire for the exploration of a specific field of
Chemical Engineering. By taking part in a graduate program at your prestigious university I
intend to acquire creative and innovative skills from the experienced faculty which would
help me in my long term career.
My undergraduate studies for Chemical engineering has enlightened me with the
fundamentals of engineering and the courses in engineering materials ,fluid mechanics, fluid
dynamics, Chemical reaction, Chemical Reactor Design, Industrial Stoichiometry, Chemical
Plant Design, thermodynamics, heat and mass transfer, Process dynamics and control,
engineering management has laid the foundations for a higher level study. I have decided to
pursue the field of Chemical Engineering for my specialization at graduate level. There are
numerous opportunities in my country and the whole world regarding this field.
I have always been fond of academic books. I successfully passed the matriculation in 2007
and later selected pre-engineering in college (2009), scoring good grades. And I achieved
regional scholarship for my bachelor’s degree due to excellent grades.
I have deep interest in research which is being done in various areas of Engineering and in
order to participate in various technical competitions and seminars. Apart from academics I
have been participating actively in extracurricular activities right from the beginning, I
participated in plays, assembly activities, sports activities, swimming, football, speeches and
other extracurricular activities that were held in my school or in the community.
Germany has the top universities for higher education and various scholarships to
encourage and attract the international students. The high standard of education in
Germany acts like a magnet and attract all the intellectual and bright candidates from
around the globe. A lot of opportunities of research can be found in Germany and I intend
to avail them and work with my full potential in the sector of Chemical Engineering. I have
chosen Otto-von-Guericke-Universität Magdeburg for Master’s Degree in Chemical &
Energy Engineering (CEE).
