Home Economics and Livelihood Education 4 (H.E.L.E.) aims to equip you with
the knowledge, skills, values, and attitudes for you to face the challenges in the society
where you are in. It also focuses on family values formation and Benedictine Hallmarks
through the lessons that encourage your fulfillment of your role as a family member.

Thus, this learning module is intended to guide you in understanding the key
ideas in Keeping the Home Clean. You will perform and accomplish exciting activities
to clearly and deeply understand the lesson. Accomplish all the tasks to unlock new and
exciting H.E.L.E. episodes.

KEEPING THE HOME CLEAN AND REVIEW

Specific Learning Objectives:

During the lesson the students should be able to:

A. discuss about home cleaning;


B. identify the tools used for cleaning;
C. explain the techniques in cleaning bedroom, living room, bathroom, dining room, kitchen and
yard;
D. share ideas about the significance of having a clean home;
E. perform the ways and techniques in cleaning through a group presentation.

MONDAY FIRST DAY

Good day, dear Agnesian! What was our lesson last


week? Good job! You can still recall our discussion last
week.

How was your experience in sewing clothes? Great!


This will be a new opportunity for you to learn and
experience something that you will be able to use in
your life.

After reading, let us see if you can identify these materials well.
The teacher will give the students pictures of the cleaning tools as
well as its function in random manner. The chosen students will
look for its partner after 2 minutes.

and protected.

“Jigsaw Puzzle”

The class will be divided into 5 groups. The teacher will give
pieces of puzzles to form in each group to solve. The group who
arranged the puzzle will be the winner.

Each group will answer the questions below. They can also present their answers through a
short role play. Afterwards, each group will be given 3-5 minutes to discuss their work.

REVIEW TEST

Before we formally arrive at the end of our 3 rd Quarter journey let us


first have a recap of all the lessons we discussed. In connection with
this:

1. The teacher will divide you into 9 groups with 3 member in


each group.
2. Each group should have their own slate, marker and own
eraser.
3. The answers will be written on your slate. Be sure to raise it
before the time ends.
4. The team who gained the most points will be declared as the
winner.

The review test competition will be divided into 3 levels: easy, difficult and hard. Each level has
5 questions with corresponding points. In case, there will be a group that has the same score
there will be a tie-breaking question/s to identify the winner.
