WRITING REFLECTION PAPER

From the beginning of the lesson, my biggest struggle for me when it comes to studying or learning the
English language, particularly the grammatical rule in technical writing is that learning any new language
can be a challenge, and English is no exception. English grammar can be difficult to master because it has
many rules, exceptions, and irregularities. However, it is possible to become proficient in the language
with dedication and practice.

For many people, the struggle of learning English can be a source of inspiration. They may be motivated
by a desire to communicate more effectively with English-speaking friends, colleagues, or clients. Others
may be inspired by the opportunities that learning English can bring, such as access to higher education,
better job prospects, or the ability to travel more easily.

Regardless of what motivates someone to learn English, there are many resources available to help
them improve their grammar skills. These include textbooks, online courses, language exchange
programs, and tutoring services. Consistent practice and exposure to the language, through reading,
writing, speaking, and listening, can also be highly beneficial.

Overall, while learning English grammar can be a challenge, it can also be a rewarding and inspiring
experience that opens new opportunities and helps individuals connect with others from different
backgrounds and cultures.

I have thoroughly enjoyed what I have learned in this technical writing class. As I reflect on the last
twelve weeks of this course, I have learned a lot and find myself trying to apply what I’ve learned to my
work life.

This class has made me more aware of the audience I am writing to and has helped me with my
documentation at work. It has broadened my knowledge of how to write objectively, clearly, and
concisely. I have learned that technical writing has many formats and is more exciting than I first
imagined. Also, I have learned that technical writing requires a great deal of thinking and planning, prior
to writing a document. I didn’t realize how often technical writing is used in our daily lives. This class has
given me knowledge on how to write documents that are consistent, and easily navigable, and the
importance of emphasizing information. Such as with the Instructions assignment and revising that, I
was able to see where I could make things easier to navigate and design it in a way that was readable
and accessible. Another thing I learned would be how to structure a sentence, which I use more often on
a daily basis in helping my sentences flow more easily.
