Choosing the best solution is made easier with careful evaluation. Each alternative
must be assessed and weighed in terms of its cost, value, and risk profile. Evaluating
alternative solutions involves analysis, discussion, and review. Iterative cycles of analysis
are sometimes necessary. Supporting analyses, experimentation, prototyping, piloting, or
simulations may be needed to substantiate scoring and conclusions. In dealing with
Evaluating alternative we need to follow procedures. First, prepare a list of an alternative
solution. Second, determine the viability of each solution. Third, revise the list by
striking out those which are not viable. Finally, the evaluation of the alternative comes
last, with critical and technical analysis in terms of their estimated consequences.
