o Aqua Blue colored yarn (I used Red Heart Super Saver in Turqua)

o Hot glue/ tacky glue. (Optional: instead of glue you can use a felting needle)

Now we will crochet in rows to slightly increase the height of one side of the body. This side of
increased height will be the backside of the body.

Do not finish off. Color change to white then proceed to crochet the white collar into the front loops.

Front Legs
Use Aqua Blue/Turqua. Make two.

Now we will crochet in rows to increase the height of one side of the leg. This side will be the front side of
the front leg.

Round 14) 5 Sc, Sl st turn

Haunch

Rear Foot

Lightly stuff then SC along the top to close off.

Row 1) SC, 3 DC in the next stitch, SC, SL ST. Repeat 11 times. SC, 2 HDC in next stitch, SC, finish off.
Assembly
Now that we have all of Vaporeon’s parts made, let’s begin putting it together!
1. First, sew the head onto the body. Keep in mind, the higher side with extra rows is Vaporeon’s back side.
2. Sew The haunches to the body.
3. Sew on the front legs.


4. Sew on the rear feet.
5. Sew the tail to the backside of the body.
6. Sew the tail fins to the tail.
7. Sew the back fin to the backside of the body and down the tail.
8. Sew the headcap onto the head.
9. Assemble the head fins:
For the ears, sew the webbing onto the long side of one of the fins.
For the top head fin, sew the webbing onto the short side of the fin.
10. Sew the fins to the head.
11. Cut out the eyes from black felt and cut out a small circular highlight from white felt. Cut out a small
triangle from black felt for the nose. Glue or needle felt the eyes and nose to the face.
