Hello, here is the proposed response to your query;

1. What exactly does J have to provide A, and what is its nature?

Cash or money from the willful breach of the duty that J must give to A is the essence of
the item that J must do.

2. Is J liable to A? If yes, for how much?

Yes. J is liable to A for a total of P 150,000 due to an accrued debt of P100,000 plus P50,000
in interest.

expense.
In general, if a thing is lost due to unavoidable circumstances, the responsibility to supply
that object is no longer in effect (Art. 1174). Yet, a duty to supply an ambiguous or generic
item is not as easily terminated by luck.
