| Faculty Bioinformatics is a research area where computer science, information

technologies and statistical methods are applied to the processing of

biological data, and bioinformatics the key science in the task

academic training programs. Bioinformaticians are not growing at the rate

learning area
Bioinformatics at the UAB. This master's degree is a strategic project of the
UAB within its recognition as Campus of International Excellence whose moto:  
"Promoting Knowledge and Innovation" encourages specialization, knowledge
transfer, diversi cation and innovative potential.
