Debrief

Thank you for taking part in this research on the level are adults aware of the amount of
endangered and recently extinct species. After this debriefing, you may choose to have
information I collected about you removed from this research study. There will be no
penalties or negative consequences for you if you withdraw from the study. You are
reminded, however, that the deadline for withdrawal is 20th April 2022, and that you will
need to quote the identification code you generated at the beginning of the questionnaire.
The data from here will be analysed in comparison to other participants’ responses, as well
as against secondary research to form a report which will be submitted to complete an
assignment for my Foundation Year Module, Study Skills. No information will be published
nor shared with anyone other than myself and, if appropriate, my Study Skills tutor. The
questionnaires will be destroyed after analysis has taken place. The analysed data will be
kept in a confidential file which will be password-protected on a private device owned, and
accessed solely by, myself.
