Image Operation description

 1. Prepare a container to collect
the brake fluid.

2. Unscrew the hose nozzle from

the brake cylinder block.

Tightening torque: 32 N · m

3. Remove the hose with seal

washer.

Reuse of the seal washers

is not permitted.

4. Loosen the lock-nut.

Tightening torque: 32 N · m

5. Unscrew the bolt — turn

limiter.

Tightening torque: 32 N · m

Measure preliminarily the

extension length of the bolt —
turn limiter.

6. Loosen the lock-nut.

Tightening torque: 32 N · m

7. Unscrew the wire bracket

fastening bolt of the wheel
speed sensor.

Tightening torque: 32 N · m

Measure preliminarily the

extension length of the bolt —
turn limiter.

8. Remove the wire bracket of the

wheel speed sensor.

 9. Unscrew flange nuts.

Tightening torque: 90 N · m

10. Remove lining pads

with gaskets.

Reuse of lining pads with

gaskets is not permitted.

11. Unscrew the clamping sleeves of
the pins on both sides with the help
of the insert.

Tightening torque: 225 N · m

12. Remove the pivots from the
swivel member.

 13. Unscrew fastening bolts of the
steering knuckle packing fixture.

Tightening torque: 43 N · m

16. Remove the steering

knuckle packing.

Installation:

1. Perform the installation in sequence reverse to the removal.

NOTICES: Gaps are not permitted in the kingpin assembly.
