MATT is on a phone call with TREVOR.

killer lurking around in the woods, and
that kid was one of his victims?

TREVOR
 If there was a killer out there, he
wouldn’t stick around where kills his
victims. I’m telling you, the kid probably
ran away from home, and got lost

MATT

I don’t know dude, I think this is just

dangerous and stupid. Plus, there’s
already a search team out looking for him.

TREVOR

But then they might get a reward if they

find him

MATT

There’s also a curfew

TREVOR

TREVOR

MATT hangs up the phone in frustration.

MATT, feeling guilty that he let his friends do something so

dangerous, gathers up the courage to equip himself with a
flashlight and pocket knife. MATT calls TREVOR

TREVOR's phone rings, and pick up his phone

 TREVOR

Ohhh, it’s Matt

MATT

Where are you guys?

TREVOR

I’m at the center of town at the moment, but I’m deciding. Meet
me at the reservation in 5

MATT

Call ends

Matt and TREVOR enter the trail.

TREVOR

See, this isn’t so bad

MATT

Let’s hope

They go deeper and deeper into the trail, and find themselves
lost as the sun begins to set

Matt

ALRIGHT, I feel like we’re going in circles

TREVOR

No, we’re not. I know where we’re going, we’re not going in
circles

Matt

TREVOR

Woah little dude, you chose to come

They continue to walk in the woods, and stumble upon a cave,

TREVOR
 We should go in

MATT

Dude, just stop!

TREVOR

I’m going in

MATT

(Whispers)Ahh Dammit

MATT follows them both into the cold and dark cave. Trevor is
instantly hit by a foul stench

TREVOR

OH GOD! did you shit yourself

MATT

What? No, I don’t know what that is

TREVOR

What the hell is that smell?

Clicking noises can be heard in the silence of the cave. The

boys quietly look at each other in fear. MATT pulls out his
pocket knife. About 10 feet in front of the boys are these faint
glowing eyes staring right at them. MATT reaches for his
flashlight, but is too afraid to use it. The glowing eyes blink.

MATT

(Yells)Go!

The boys sprint out of the cave and back on the trail, and get
far enough from the cave so they feel safe.

TREV

What the hell was that?!

MATT

I don’t know dude! Glad we’re alive though

TREV

We have to call the cops, but if we call the cops, we all look
like loonies. How do we explain what the hell just happened
without sounding like complete maniacs?!
 Matt

We should go

The boys run back into the trail and try to find their way back.
The creature opens its eyes in the cave.
