For above reasons, it is recommended to store the original packing. During the lifting, the center of
gravity should be controlled carefully.
2.2 Environment requirement for the place of installation
2.2.1 The cooling unit should be horizontally installed in a well ventilated, dry place and far from
dust and liquid fog. The air inlet and outlet ports should be at least 1m from the walls and other
objects, and necessary service clearance should be kept.

2.2.2 There should be no corrosive, flammable and explosive gas around the unit; and near the

installation spot, there should be no high temperature heating source and other heating objects. Besides,

the unit should not be directly exposed to the sunlight.

2.2.3 The installation spot should be decided by the customers according to type and model of the

unit selected. The structure of the installation spot should be strong enough to endure the weight of the

unit and the force passed when the unit is working.

2.3 Liquid piping

Normally, the pressure of the liquid cooler at the pumping side is about -0.3bar, and the pressure
at delivery side is about 5bar. Select liquid pipes in reference of the pressure level, and ensure that the
piping is rational, the installation is handy and simple, and the loss of pressure of the piping is as less
as possible.
2.3.1 Size of the piping
Steel pipes or flex liquid-resistant pipes with inner diameter no smaller than the sizes specified
should be selected according to the model of the liquid cooler. The inside of the pipes should be dry,
clean, and free of corrosion, dust and grease, etc.
2.3.2 Pipe joints
The number of pipe joints used should be as small as possible so as to reduce the resistance
caused by them.
2.3.3 Valves
Don’t use valves unless it is necessary, because the pressure in the piping loses considerably
even if they are fully open.
2.3.4 Length of the pipes
The length of the piping should be decided according to the characteristics of the cooling
liquid, such as viscidity, temperature, etc., and should be as short as possible. Normally, the length
of the piping should not exceed 5 m.
2.3.5 Assembling of the piping
The connection of the pipes should be reliable, well sealed; and stick tapes should be used at
the joints to prevent the air from entering and the liquid from leaking. Heat insulation material
shall be applied for the liquid piping when it is deemed necessary.
2.4 Intake filter
An liquid intake filter with size of 100~150 should be installed to improve the cooler’s heat
exchanging efficiency and to extend its working life( The filter should be provided by the customer).
2.5 Liquid tank
2.5.1 To ensure the high temperature liquid mixes with the low temperature liquid thoroughly, the
dimensions of the liquid tank, the inside separation, pipes connection, etc., should be carefully worked
out.
2.5.2 To prevent air from entering the liquid circulation, the lowest liquid level in the tank should
be above the inlet of liquid delivery pipe.
2.5.3 The positions of the inlet and outlet liquid pipes should be arranged rationally according to
fig. 2.
2.5.4 For immersion liquid cooler, the clearance between the liquid surface and the top of the
liquid tank shouldn’t exceed 100 mm.

observance of relevant electrical regulations and specifications.
2.6.1 Power supply and the fuses should conform to requirements and specifications of the instruction
manual and of the product nameplate. Operation voltage fluctuation of ±10% is permissible.
a. For model LO/W(R)-15~LO/W(R)35and LO/W-C series coolers, 3-phase 5-line power supply
system (3N~380V 50Hz) with neutral line (zero line ) shall be adopted. If there is no neutral line on
the power board and it is needed to use a grounding line instead, set an exclusive line as grounding
line, the resistance of which shall be smaller than 4Ω and the section area of which shall be greater
than 6 mm2, and in this case, the leaking protection switch shouldn’t be used in the circuit.
b. For model LO/W(R)-50~LO/W(R)-600 series coolers, 3-phase 4-line power supply system (3P~
50Hz /380V) shall be adopted, and the grounding line should be well earthed.
c. For model LO/W(R)-15~LO/W(R)35 and LO/W-C series coolers, if 3-phase 5-line power supply
system (3N~380V 50Hz) is to be adopted, remove the covering plate of the cooler in advance, find
the connection terminal row, remove the jump between terminals marked “PE” an “N” on the rows.
2.6.2 The section area of power supply lines shall meet the requirement of the electrical diagram. The
momentary starting current of the compressor is 5~10 times of the rated operating current. The
power supply shall meet the current requirements; otherwise, the liquid cooler will not start
normally.
2.6.3 The power supply circuit shall be equipped with an air-switch or breaker (fuse) independently, the
specifications of which shall match the current value on the nameplate.

An RC filter should be added between the passive
DC 5~24V
contactor and the I/O port so as to improve the
anti-interference ability, refer to fig.4.
Additionally, in order to prevent the interference signal from being picked, when the alarm signal (low
potential is valid) is received, another 3 seconds are
delayed; if the potential of the signal received is still
low, then the alarm signal is judged valid. Figure 4 Passive contactor circuits
3.8 remote control (special customization is
required)
When using the unit with remote control, the unit will not start automatically when it is powered on,
the remote switch input "close" will start the unit, the remote switch input "disconnect" will stop the
unit, and the digital tube displays "OF".
4 Trial running
4.1 Check before operation to make sure,
a. Power supply is correct, and the grounding line is earthed reliably;
b. Pipes sizes are appropriate, and there is no air seeping and liquid leaking;
c. Liquid input and output direction is correct, all valves in the piping are fully open, and the liquid
flows unimpeded and smoothly;
d. Liquid level in the liquid tank meets the depth requirements and the liquid intake port is below
the surface of the liquid.
Special remark:
a.It is forbidden to start the unit, when the liquid is short (Otherwise, the liquid pump will suffer
damage.)
b. Prevent the air from entering the piping. (Otherwise, big noise will be resulted.)
c. When high viscidity liquid is used or there is excessive pressure loss in the liquid piping, larger
sized liquid pipes are deemed necessary.
d. For model LO/W-□□(without liquid pump), the Liquid Cooler and the system’s liquid pump
should be interlocked and operate simultaneously.
e. For liquid coolers with the fan at the top, don’t start when the front, back and side covering
boards are not installed completely.
Precautions for water cooling machine:
If no water comes out during the first water supply, the following methods can be adopted:
a. First check whether the phase sequence alarms and whether the pump steering is correct;
b. Lw-pt model should first fill the water tank with water;
c. Add a hose to the outlet, raise the water supply, and open the exhaust plug at the upper end of the
pump until water flows out of the vent hole;
d. Tighten the exhaust plug and refill water until there is water flowing out of the suction port. Then
start the pump and the water will circulate automatically;
e water nozzle external machine can save c, d steps.
Water cooling machine filling liquid recommendations
(used for cooling motorized spindle, torque motor, linear motor, large and medium-sized
water-cooled motor, laser, plasma equipment, etc.) :
a, lw-□ PT/ lwl-□ type liquid cooling machine with pure water, distilled water;
b, additives are recommended to use car antifreeze (ethylene glycol), adding 30% ~ 40%.
4.2 Switch on and start to operate
4.2.1 Power on and check to make sure the phase order of the power supply is correct. If the phase
order of the power supply is not correct, the ALARM indicator will illuminates, and the numerical
display will indicate trouble code “E04”. Turn off the switch of the power supply for the liquid
cooling unit and master switch of the circuit, exchange the positions of any two phases of the power
supply, re-energize the liquid cooling unit, the phase order trouble will be eliminated and it will
enter normal operation mode
4.2.2 Turn on the power switch, the pump or agitator will start to operate, the indicator for the liquid
pump will illuminate, and the liquid will start circulating. When the cooling unit starts operating, the
work machinery of the customer should operate simultaneously.
Note: when the liquid pump is running, check whether there is liquid inhalation and discharge
in the pipeline, and whether the amount of liquid in the liquid box is enough!
4.2.3 in the debugging process of LO/ w-pt /P2T model, the ball valve at the inlet and outlet can be
adjusted according to the needs to control the flow, achieving the best effect.
4.2.4 after the normal operation of the unit for a period of time, the actual liquid temperature
displayed by the digital tube on the control panel shall gradually decrease.
4.2.5 temperature control mode
a. Fixed temperature type: When certain temperature value is preset, the liquid cooler will keep the
temperature within the set temperature range automatically.
b. Differential temperature control type: This type controls the operation of the liquid cooler
automatically according to variation of room temperature. When the set temperature is “﹢X℃”, the
liquid temperature is maintained at a value X℃ higher than room temperature;and when the set
temperature is “﹣X℃”, the liquid temperature is maintained at a value X℃ lower than room
temperature.
In general, the recommended liquid temperature setting value is: fixed temperature: about 25℃ ~ 35
℃; Homology at room temperature: about -5℃ ~ +2℃.
4.2.6 refrigeration/heating operation
When the operating conditions in table 1 or table 2 are met, the liquid cooling unit performs
refrigeration or heating.
When cooling starts, the "PUMP" light on the control panel lights up, and the compressor and fan
motors work simultaneously. After the liquid cooling unit runs for a period of time, the liquid
temperature displayed by PV digital tube will decrease accordingly.
When the HEAT PUMP is started, the "PUMP" indicator light on the control panel is on, and the
compressor and fan motors are working. Meanwhile, the "HEAT" indicator light on the control panel
is on, and the four-way valve is started for heating. After the liquid cooling unit runs for a period of
time, the liquid temperature displayed by PV digital tube will rise accordingly.
4.2.7 in the unit operation process, attention should be paid to check whether the system has abnormal
sound or phenomenon. When abnormal conditions occur, the power should be immediately
disconnected, find the cause and eliminate.
4.2.8 since the liquid cooling machine is equipped with the compressor delay protection function, the
cooling will not start immediately after the power supply of the unit or after the compressor stops.
This phenomenon is normal and does not belong to the fault of the unit.
5 Maintenance
The cooling unit should be maintained regularly so as to maintain its working efficiency, and
extend its working life. The maintenance can only be done after the power is switched off and 1 hour
later after the unit stops working.
5.1 After the liquid cooler working for about 2 weeks, open the discharge port on the liquid tank
to drain the liquid so as to clear the impurities taken into the cooler and water at the bottom of the
tank. The cooling cliquid of model LO/W-C cooling unit should be cleared periodically to prevent
the degrading of cooling capacity. During the clearing, the bottom of the liquid tank should be
cleaned thoroughly and care should be taken to avoid damaging the cooling cliquid.
5.2 Clean the air filter once every 2 weeks (clean it once every week when the environment
condition is poor). For cleaning, remove the filter; clear the dust by a cleaner or an air spraying gun. If
there are excessive dirt and dust, clean air filters with warm water featuring a temperature lower than
40℃ and neutral detergent. Air-dry completely after cleaning, reinstall in the original position.
5.3 According to the cleanness of the liquid, examine and clean the liquid intake filter periodically
to avoid it being blocked or jammed.
5.4 When the surface of the unit is dirty, clean it by wiping with soft cloth dipped with neutral
detergent or high quality soap. Attention should be paid not to use petroleum, acidic solvents, grinding
powders, steel brush, sand paper, etc., so as not to damage the plastic coated surface.
5.5 Before resuming after not being used for a long time, or after working for a long period (about
half a year), the liquid cooler should be checked to see if the heat exchanger is jammed by dust or dirt.
Clean the surface of the heat exchanger by compressed dry air, dust cleaner or fluffy brush when it is
deemed necessary. During the cleaning, pay attention not to damage the fins of the heat exchanger.
5.6 If the liquid cooler is left unused for a long time, switch of the liquid cooler, disconnect the
power supply, and cover it with a protection enclosure to prevent dust, liquid fog and water from
entering.
