PROJECT SUMMARY
A. Introduction and background

We had celebrated the 75th Independence Day but are we think us independent yet?
The answer is no. We are living in country where still the hardest rituals follows and
poor treatment provided to the women. There are many terms and slangs were used
for the menstrual. The menstrual is the process in human body which controls the
hormones and safeguard for the female from medical hygiene. In India still at rural
area out of 10 women and adolescent girls 8 are facing the issues for proper
handling the menstrual. Because of lack awareness and poverty in rural areas they
are not using the medically approved products. They are using cloths which many
times not properly washed which result into the different diseases found in female.
The Grameen First Development foundation was established in year 2021 and was
working in different projects at Palghar. We had done previous researches in the
area of menstrual hygiene hence we are now come up with the project called
‘SAMRUDDH’ which denotes a wellbeing in family. Ultimately our aim to provide
the good health and sanitation to all the women and adolescent girls who are facing
the problem for menstrual hygiene. For this we have set up our objectives and
