Cristo.

 Ang mensahe niining kabuntagon/kahapunon adunay Tema nga nagkanayun “THE
MIGHTY WARRIORS OF GOD”.
 The Mighty Warriors of God- kung makabati kita sa pulong Mighty Warriors unsay una
musulod sa inyong mga huna-huna?
o Kun muingon ta’g Mighty -Sigarilyo ba?
o Mighty means possessing great and impressive power or strength. (elaborate)
o Warrior is a person engaged or experienced in battle. (elaborate)
o When we say “Mighty Warriors of God” means Makusganong mga Mandirigma sa
Dios.
o Would you like to become “The Mighty Warriors of God”?
o If we wanted to become The Mighty Warriors of God let us focus on today’s
sermon because today, we will be talking about the Characteristics of a Mighty
Warrior, the Tips to become Mighty one, and the obligations/responsibilities of a
Warrior.
CONTENT:
Ang Efeso 6: 10-20 nagahisgot mahitungod sa sulat ni Pablo ngadto sa mga taga Efeso nga
nagpahinumdom kanila alang sa pagbiling lig-on diha sap ag-alagad sa Dios. Nga diin gipakita
usab ni Pablo nga ang pag-alagad diha sa Ginoo daw sama sa pagsalmot sa panggubatan. Paul
reminds the Ephesians to stay alert, Choose the best Armor, and to attain sustainability.
Niining higayuna usab sama sa pagpahinumdom ni Pablo sa mga taga Efeso, ang Dios
nagapakita usab kanato sa samang pagpahinumdom pinaagi niining maong sulat ni Pablo ngadto
sa mga taga Efeso.
Apan sa dili mangutana una ako kaninyo kinsa ang ML player dri? COD? PUBG? These are

Nga kun muapil ka sa maong mga duwa kinahanglan kamao kita kun unsa nga skills ang atong

we can win the battle.

Mga igsoon ang pagsunod kang Cristo sama sa usa ka gubat. God is the King, Jesus Christ is the
Son who is leading the battle, Holy Spirit is the sustainer, and we are the soldiers.
Now, my question is- Would you like continue taking the path of a warrior or withdraw?
If we want to become God’s Mighty Warriors let us all consider the three Tips on becoming the
Mighty ones.

1. STAY ALERT- verses 10-13

o Kung muingon ta’g Stay Alert, kinahanglan magbantay kita, stay awake, ayaw
pagluya-luya. Verse 10- Lig-ona ang inyong kaugalingon diha sa pagpakighiusa sa
Ginoo pinaagi sa Iyang gahom. (Exercise your Faith in God, Be on a Training. Unsa
nga training, tun-I ang mensahe sa Dios, basa kanunay sa Iyang pulong, let us engage
ourselves to working or participating in the Christian Activities in the Church.
o Verse 11- Wear the Armor of God, isul-ob kanunay ang armadora sa Dios aron kun
limbungan kita sa yawa makasukol kita. Ngano man, if we are wearing the armor of
God, other troops will be able to identify nga kita kausa nila diha sa pang-gubatan,
ngano man kay kung atong huba-hubaon ang armor nga gipadayag kanato sa Dios
basig maalahan ta nga kaaway.
o Malimbungon ang yawa, mao nga magbantay gayud kita kanunay. Always wear the
armor aron whenever the devil approaches us, we could be able to fight against him
and win the battle.
o Verse 12- Know your Enemy/ Target locked. Wala kita makig-away batok sa dugo ug
unod. Meaning human is not our enemy. We are not called to become a Mighty
Warrior to fight against human. We are called to fight against our common enemy
“THE DEVIL”.
o Ang mga dautang Espiritu nga namunuan sa tawo aron sa paghimog dautan. Our target
is not to kill the human. The real target is to kill the Devil inside.
o That is why God reminded us to always bring with us His armor aron dli kita malingla
ni Satanas.
o Ang yawa maoy mumando sa tawo aron sa pagbuhat ug dautan, ang yawa maoy
mumando kanato aron pagpangawat, pagpatay, pagpanglibak, pagdaut sa isigkatawo,
pagdumili sa pagsimba, pagpalabi sa mga butang nga makababag kanato sa pagduol sa
Dios, pagbuhat ug dautan batok sa isig ka-tawo ug batok sa Dios.
o Ang atong enemy dili ang tawo nga nagbuhat sa ingon kundili ang yawa nga
nagmando aron pagbuhat sa ingon.
o Devil is our target to defeat.
o Human is our target to save.
o Nakuha nato? Stay Alert aron dili kita malingla sa yawa. Let us always put ourselves
in training, exercise. Let us all become optimistic to participate in Christian activities
and studies about the word of God.
 2. CHOOSE THE BEST ARMOR TO WEAR- verses 14-17
o Kamatuuran – Truth as belt
o Pagkamatarong – Righteousness as Vest
o Pagkamadasigon – Optimism as Combat shoes
o Pagtuo- Faith as Shield
o Kaluwasan – Salvation as Helmet
o Pulong sa Dios – Word of God as Sword (Hait pa sa Espada nga duhay suwab)
o (Elaborate)
3. ATTAIN SUSTAINABILITY- verses 18-20
o Sustainability refers to the ability to maintain or support a process continuously over
time.
o Unsay atong himuon aron magpabilin kitang lig-ong mga sundalo sa Dios?
o 18- Pag-ampo ug pangayo kanunay pinaagi sa Espiritu. (We do not see the person
Jesus who is taking the Lead but He has given us the Holy Spirit to sustain our
strength, our faith, the power inside us.) Magbantay kita kanunay ug magmalahutayon
unta kita sa atong gisalmutan nga gubat.
o 19-20 pray for the people of God, iampo nato ang atong isig kamagtutuo,
magdinasigay kita sa usa ug usa isip usa ka lawas ni Cristo. Iampo nato ang matag-usa.
Magtinabangay kita. Nga kun may maluya diha sa atong pundok isip mga kristohanon
atong dasigon, dili kay ato pa hinuong marisihon, kun dunay nagkalisud atong
tabangan, kun dunay nahimulag atong tabangan nga mahibalik diha sa pundok.
o Pray for your leaders. Even apostle Paul asks the Ephesians to pray for him. Pastors
also need your prayers; we need your support. We as being your troop leaders
nagkinahanglan usab kami sa inyong suporta, diha sa buluhaton. (Elaborate) Paul here
might be in prison literally, but we are not. Nga bisan pa man diha sa iyang
pagkabilanggo nakahimo gihapon siya sa pagsangyaw sa pulong sa Dios. How much
more kita nga gawasnon. I believe everyone of us can spread the good news to the
people pinaagi sap ag-apil sa buluhaton diha sa Iglesia, pinaagi sa pagsuporta, pinaagi
sap ag-agda kanila sap ag-apil sa mga buluhaton diha sa ministeryo. Pinaagi sa
pagtabang kanila.

CONCLUSION:

Choose the best armor…The best armor is the armor from God.
Attain Sustainability….. Pray for sustainability through the holy spirit, pray for other warriors,
pray for your troop leaders.
Would you still want to become the Might Warrior of God?
Yes! Remember We are not fighting alone, we are not fighting for ourselves. God is fighting for
us. Jesus is taking the Lead, do not worry because He will never leave us.
