census.
Tarlac is known for its creative crafts, woodcrafts, and pottery. The province has been known for
its woodcarving and woodcrafts since ancient times. The natives are skilled at crafting intricate
designs on wood such as fruit or flowers that are used as decorations and souvenirs for tourists.
They also craft traditional Filipino items like dolls and jars from palm leaves, bamboo, or coconut
shells.
