Explain in your own word:

1. The teacher as the knower of the curriculum


The idea of the teacher as the individual knower of the curriculum is an old
method of instruction that has lately been challenged. This method assumes that the
teacher is the expert in their subject area and that it is their responsibility to convey this
knowledge to their students. Being a lifelong learner also involves taking charge of your
education and knowing the curriculum is crucial in this matter, developing into an active
learner, and setting goals for your own growth.

2. The teacher as the writer of the curriculum


The teacher as the writer of the curriculum approach has both benefits and
challenges. When done well, it can result in a more fascinating. There is a clear
application of the task which is writing and there are deliverables such as manuscripts.
The teaching and learning process will be enhanced if teachers keep developing the
curriculum as it will start serving as concrete resources, a program for creative
expression, and a way to reflect by boosting teaching methods and keeping them up to
date with modern education needs. In furthermore, they use innovative and engaging
teaching methods to help students gain knowledge more efficiently and entertainingly.
By creating or reviewing these materials, it helps to ensure that students have access to
high-quality educational sources that can improve.

3. The teacher as the planner of the curriculum


The principle of curriculum planning is to serve as a practical way route
illustrating directions that lead to a good outcome. Studying the basics of curriculum
development, the teacher accepts the position of a curriculum planner. This includes
identifying the learning objectives, selecting appropriate teaching strategies and
methods, and designing assessments to evaluate student progress. Additionally, the

curriculum planner must consider any standards or needs established by the school as
well as the students' needs and abilities.

4. The teacher as the initiation of the curriculum


As an initiator of the curriculum, teachers must learn how to adjust to changes in
their suggested curriculum as rapidly as they can, since they are the individuals who
deliver the changes to the learners. The teacher as the initiator of the educational
approach has both advantages and disadvantages. When completed well, it can result
in a learning experience for students that's more relevant, trying to engage, and life -
changing. Ultimately, the teachers’ role as the initiator of the education system is vital to
molding the instructional experience of students and ensuring their success.

5. The teacher as the innovator of the curriculum


Curriculum innovation is crucial to the goal of guaranteeing the knowledge that is
attained by learners is useful and effective during instruction. Thus, the expanded roles
of knowledge have consequences for the work that teachers must do in innovating and
authorizing the curriculum. A skilled teacher must be able to innovate and adjust the
curriculum to ensure that it remains relevant and effective. A teacher can create new
curriculum by creating fresh matter, instructional approaches, assessment techniques,
and professional skills. This requires limiting spaces for improvement, examining fresh
strategies, and putting new ideas into practice so that students can learn more
effectively. Teachers must create and implement new teaching techniques while
considering the various learning inclinations of their students. The teacher should be
open-minded.

6. The teacher as the implementor of the curriculum


The role of teachers in the curriculum process is to help students develop an
engaged relationship with the content. Active learning will improve the emphasis and
understanding of the curriculum, succeeding in an exciting learning environment. Each
day teacher uses manuals guide the teaching. This means that classroom choices are
made by those who are distant and separated from students. Teachers often are
described as the key curriculum implementers as they are crucial to any curriculum
development effort of their knowledge, experiences, and competencies. Because they
are most knowledgeable about the practice of teaching and are in control of introducing
the curriculum, better teachers support better learning.

7. The teacher as the evaluator of the curriculum


A teacher is the one who evaluates a student's improvement of the teachings you
had taught to them to determine their progress. Learning outcomes are crucial for
students, and as an examiner, you have to be knowledgeable of their area of strength
and weakness in order to direct your choices, achieve your objectives, and assess if the
desired learning outcomes have been achieved.
