Want

In economics ,a want is something that is desired.It is said that every person has unlimited
wants,but limited resources.Thus people can not have everything they want and must look for the
most affordable or alternatives .

Wants are often distinguished from needs.Aneed is something that is necessary for
survival,whereas a want is simply something that a person would like to have.Some economists
have rejected this distinction and maintain that all of these are simply wants,we barying levels of
importance.

Human wants are virtually unlimited. The human motives that induce the business and economic
activities which produce the desired goods and services or the means to acquire then.

Characteristics of want:

1. Wants are unlimited.

2. Wants are no equally important.
3. Wants are rise again and again.
4. Wants can be satisfied by different means.
5. Wants co-operate with each other.
6. Wants are satisfaiable.
