GENERAL ARRANGEMENT
15ppm Bilge Separator

Stage one
ƒUThe first stage removes the free oil by gravity
with the help of coalescence plates.

ƒUAn adjustable oil sensor controls the valve stage one

for automatic oil release to the sludge tank.

ƒUThe amount of treatable water released to

the sludge tank is minimised.

ƒUIn the second stage the emulsified oil is
removed in the two filter tanks.

ƒUThe ppm value is monitored by a 15ppm bilge

alarm.

ƒUWhen a 15ppm alarm occurs, the 3Sep will

automatically close the overboard line and re-
circulate the treatable water to the bilge.
When the contamination falls below 15ppm the
overboard valve will open again automatically .

Hyundai - JOWA 3SEP OWS is a type approved 15ppm bilge water separator in accordance with •TYPE APPROVED IN ACCORDANCE WITH IMO
IMO MEPC 107(49). MEPC 107(49)

The treated water released by the 3SEP OWS contains no more the 15ppm oil in water. •TREATED WATER BELOW 15PPM

The system is designed for a continuous flow with automatic operation. •SEPARATES FREE AND EMULSIFIED OIL

Hyundai- JOWA 3SEP OWS is a dual stage oily bilge water separation system utilizing differential •TANKS MADE OF STAINLESS STEEL, AISI 316L
specific gravity. coalescence plates and filtration to separate and remove free and emulsified oil. •CAN EASILY BE CONNECTED TO Hyundai - JOWA
The system is designed as a skid assembly with all connection points collected. for easy “Plug n' Play” EBU UNIT FOR LESS THAN 5PPM APPLICATIONS
installation. When the unit reaches the customer the only remaining thing to do is to connect water inlets •CAPACITY RANGE 1~10 M 3/H
and outlets and the electrical power supply facilitation quick and easy installation onboard. Before leaving
our workshop each unit has to pass a quality-test, where all functions are tested.

All equipment has the highest quality; the tanks are made of stainless steel AISI 316L. Our pumps are
supplied by internationally recognized brands. Spare parts are easily available from one of our offices or
representatives worldwide.
