Job Requirements

Non-Technical:

 Able to work at a high level independently, utilizing other resources with good judgment.
 Able to demonstrate high initiative and ownership of issues.
 Able to excel in making customers feel great about their support experience regardless of
the outcome via high level, polished customer and relationship management skills.
 Able to follow internal procedures and reliably perform real-time ticket documentation.
 Able to work at a fast pace and achieve pre-determined billable utilization goals.
 Must have strong leadership skills and a willingness and ability to work through tough
situations and solve challenging problems.
 Extraordinary written, verbal and interpersonal skills are a must.
 Must be ready and willing to commit to continuous education, certification and self-
improvement.

Technical:

 Candidate MUST HAVE previous experience working for an MSP, or as an IT Consultant


supporting multiple client environments.
 5+ years of RECENT professional experience in supporting the following for a variety of
environments:
 Microsoft Windows (server and desktop), Microsoft Outlook and the Office Suite
 Apple OS X
 Internet-related technologies, including: DNS, registrars, SSL, webhosting providers
 Microsoft Active Directory
 Microsoft Exchange
 Networking connectivity & related equipment including: routers, managed switches, VLANs,
WLANs, NAT, firewalls
 Virtualization (Citrix/Microsoft/VMWare)
 Server hardware and related technologies, including: RAID, iLO, bare-metal restores, backup
methodologies

 Candidates with experience in the following would be preferred over others:


 Familiarity with ConnectWise
 Familiarity with Remote Monitoring packages such as Labtech, Continuum, Kaseya or N-
Able
 Previous experience working for an MSP, VAR, and/or as an IT Consultant
