The University takes pride to be the Nineteenth National Law University in the Country. The
University shall be making rapid progress toward its dream of achieving excellence.
In order to achieve its objectives, the University has established twenty-eight centers for
advanced legal studies and research in different fields of law to address the socio-legal
issues and challenges and to conduct cutting-edge research on thriving issues of law,
social science, and humanities.
In the post-colonial world, India has the biggest potential, and its arts, culture, and
spirituality draw people from across the globe. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is
using soft power to change Indian diplomacy. Five foreign policy principles—
samman (dignity), samvaad (dialogue), samriddhi (shared prosperity), suraksha
(regional and global security), and sanskriti evam sabhayata (cultural and
civilizational links)—have been integrated into the country's economic aims. Prime
Minister Modi has stressed that India can be the "viswaguru" or global teacher and
integrated India's political beliefs into its geopolitical calculations.
