Proposal for Fun Friday
By: J’zara Adams
Fun Friday Fundraiser Proposal

Abstract/Executive Summary
The Fun Friday fundraiser is designed to reduce the cost of graduation ball tickets for the current
form five-year group. On March 24th, 2023, students from Bishop Anstey High School East and
Trinity College East will have the opportunity to participate in a dress-down day with a 90s
theme, wear fun accessories, and take part in a 360-degree photo booth. There will also be a
karaoke competition held during the last two periods of the day, with entrance and registration
fees.
The event aims to raise $15,000 with the help of both schools. The funds collected will be
managed by the prefects of Bishop Anstey High School East and the form teachers at Trinity
College East, in accordance with protocol.

Introduction
This proposal outlines the purpose, methodology, and expected outcomes of the Fun Friday
fundraiser. The aim is to host a successful event that will reduce the financial burden of
graduation ball tickets for students in the form five-year group.

Purpose
The purpose of the Fun Friday fundraiser is to reduce the cost of graduation ball tickets for
students in the form five-year group. We recognize that graduation is a milestone event for
students, and we do not want financial constraints to prevent any student from participating in
this important event.

Project Activity, Methodology and Outcome

On March 24th, 2023, students at both Bishop Anstey High School East and Trinity College East
will have the opportunity to participate in a dress-down day with a 90s theme. Students who pay
a fee of $10 will be permitted to wear a top, bottom and shoes that fall within the dress code
guidelines, which include non-distressed jeans and pants or skirts below the knee. Students are
also encouraged to wear fun accessories such as oversized sunglasses, silly hats, and other
items that evoke the 90s era.
During the dress-down day, a 360-degree photo booth will be available for students to take
photos and capture the experience. The cost of the photo booth will be $15 for one person and
$35 for a group.
In addition, a karaoke competition will be held during the last two periods of the day. There will
be a $5 entrance fee for the audience, a $5 registration fee for single participants, and a $10
registration fee for groups. The prizes will be sponsored by the parents of the form five-year
group.
The funds collected from the Fun Friday fundraiser will be used to discount the cost of graduation
ball tickets for each student in the form five-year group. We project that with the participation of
an average of 30 students per class from Bishop Anstey High School East and an average of 20
students per class from Trinity College East, we can raise $15,000.
The collection of money will be carried out by the Bishop Anstey Prefect Body and the Form
Teachers of Trinity College East, after which funds will be turned over to the Business Centre as
per protocol.

Monitoring and Evaluation

The success of the Fun Friday fundraiser will be determined by the number of students who
participate and adhere to the dress guidelines. We will also evaluate the event's success based
on the amount of money raised.

The Fun Friday fundraiser requires $800 to cover the cost of the 360-degree photo booth.
