SMO racdoeco 19,088 HAH WA FH Karnataka Gramin Bank ‘Memo No : 290/2022-23 HEAD OFFICE: BALLARI Index No 117/2022-23 HR WING : PENSION CELL Date 08.03.2023 Sub: Submission of EPFO (Employee Provident Fund Organization) Form 13 & Form 10C for transfer of PF and EPS accumulations to Bank PF Trust/PRAN of Individual Staff Members In our Bank, Pension Regulations (amended), 2019 were implemented with effect from 01.04.2018 and accordingly the Bank is paying Pension to eligible retired employees of the Bank/eligible family members of the deceased employees. The applicability /Option of pension regulations are as under; 1, The employees who joined the service of the Bank before 1% April, 2010 are eligible for Bank’s Pension. 2. The employees who joined the service of the Bank on or after the 1% April, 2010 shall have an option either to be covered by the National Pension System or to continue to be governed under the Employees’ Pension Scheme, 1995. 3. The employees who join the service of the Bank on or after the 1* April, 2018 shall be covered by the National Pension Scheme. Whereas above point No.2 all the employees have opted to cover under National Pension System The Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Financial Services, New Delhi had issued an order D.O. No.8/20/2010-RRB dated 13.011.2019 addressed to Central Provident Fund Commissioner, Head Office, New Delhi stating that, the balance of Employers’ and Employees’ contribution will have to be refunded by EPFO (Employee Provident Fund Organization) to the respective RRB for those serving employees who have opted for Bank’s pension scheme or National Pension System. Further, as per NABARD letter No. NB.HO.IDD.RRB/1056/316 (pension)/2019-2020 dated 05.02.2020 the NABRAD has advised the RRBs to stop the remittance of EPFO contributions (Both Employee and Employer) of their Staff Members. Accordingly, Bank has stopped the remittance of the Contributions to the EPFO with effect from February 2020 salary. Now, the EPFO has advised the Bank to provide them signed Form 13 (transfer of Provident Fund accumulations) and Form 10C (transfer of Employees Pension Scheme (EPS) accumulations) of individual staff members for processing of the Fund transfer request. Accordingly, we advise the serving employees who were on pay roll as on 31.01.2020 to submit the signed Form 13 and Form 10C. Along with the said forms you are also advised to submit EPFO statement from 01.04.2010 to till date, which can be downloaded from UMANG App>EPFO>View Passbook. The pre-filled Form 13 and Form 10C of individual staff members are uploaded in HRMS. For downloading the same, the staff members have to login in their HRMS and download the same by navigating to Employee Self Services >> My Services >> Career and Development >> Staff Data Download. Select the respective Communication type and download the forms. After downloading Form 13 and Form 10C staff members have to fill up their Father’s/Husband’s name column only. The other details should not be altered/changed. The duly signed Forms along with downloaded EPFO statement have to be sent to Head Office, Pension Cell within 18.03.2023. Upon receipt of the above said forms of the individual staff members, the Pension Cell will forward the same to EPFO requesting for transferring of funds to the Bank. Upon receipt of funds from EPFO, the Pension Cell will: 1. In case of staff joined in the services of the Bank before 01.04.2010, (those, who are eligible for Bank’s Pension) credit the PF accumulation amount to Bank’s Provident Fund Trust (Employee Share) and Bank’s Pension Fund Trust (Employer Share) respectively. 2. In case of staff joined in the services of the Bank on or after 01.04.2010, (those, who have opted for NPS) credit the accumulation amount to the respective PRAN of staff members maintained in NPS trust of NSDL (National Securities depository limited) Before sending the Forms, Staff of erstwhile Bank’s, who have not transferred the accumulations to new entity i.e., Karnataka Gramin Bank have to transfer the PF accumulations to the new entity by using the link https://unifiedportal- mem.epfindia.gov.in/memberinterface/. The transfer of accumulations can be viewed in the statement available in EPFO website/Mobile App. The sample signed Form 13 and Form 10C has been displayed as annexure to this memo. Staff Members have to sign accordingly and ensure onward submission to Pension Cell, Head office within the above stipulated time.
