Plot
ANIME

Barney and his friends take the stage to delight and entertain everyone
at Radio City Music Hall. They all work together to make a special
MOVIES surprise for the audience using items from "The Barney Bag". But
before they are able to share it, a new visitor, The Winkster, sneaks
away with the bag! Throughout the show, the kids are trying to catch

The Winkster and teach him that it is so important to have friends and
to share. Also, the chase takes everyone to "Barney's Imagination
Circus" with fun-loving clowns and some dancing bears. After the

circus ends, the chase continues until Winkster confesses that he took
the bag for everyone to play with him. After his confession, he
remembers to use the words "Please" and "Thank You," and then

becomes friends with Barney, Baby Bop, BJ, and the kids. Barney then
unveils the suprise to the audience and then asks them to use their
imaginations to make the heart bigger. After the unveiling of the then

WIKI bigger heart, Barney, Baby Bop, BJ, The Winkster, and the kids sing
"Everyone Is Special". After that, they wrap up the show with "I Love
You."

This stage show/video marks:

The first use of the newer Barney costumes. One of which

would later be used in Season 3.
The first time on video that Barney is partially-performed by
Carey Stinson. Stinson was Barney's Double, used only for
"quick changes" (Barney transforming into a peanut
salesman, for example). Stinson would later return to be
Barney's main costume actor in some live performances,
Barney's Big Surprise and Barney's Musical Castle, and on
the television series starting in 2003.
The first time that BJ is performed by Jeff Brooks. To
accompany the height differences between the old and new

The second Barney concert to have an intermission. The
first being Barney in Concert.
The first time The Barney Bag was sung in 4 verses.

The only Barney concert that used The Barney Bag. This is
also the only time in the entire series, where The Barney
HOME Bag played such a huge roll, rather than usually having a
minor role, like in the TV series.
After Act 1 and before Act 2 in the video version, there is an
GAMES intermission title card shown with a circus background and
circus instruments playing I Am a Fine Musician.
All of the dialogue (including that of Barney and the other dinos)
ANIME were recorded live for each performance, unlike future Barney
shows. The songs, however, were prerecorded.
Because many of the sets could not be transported, the show
MOVIES never went on tour.
Although this stage show has its very own soundtrack, with all 34
songs (including the ones in the medleys), some of the songs

from this concert were also featured in the Barney's Favorites
Vol. 2 album. Specifically, the live version of The Barney Theme
Song, My Yellow Blankey, The Barney Bag, BJ's Song, and My

Aunt Came Back. I Love You would've been taken from some
Season 2 episodes.
After the Please and Thank You number, a camera angle shows

My Personal Changes
I'd release a soundtrack for this concert.
Before Barney makes his live entrance, I'd show the Season 2
Barney doll, then have it covered up with smoke,and THEN
Barney makes his live entrance.
I'd have The Barney Theme Song sung in its full entirety, instead
of shortening it.
I'd have The Barney Theme Song also play as an underscore,
when Barney greets the audience.
After the song Mr. Knickerbocker, I'd have the kids go up to
Barney, and hug him.
During the song Ring Around the Rosie, is include the verse of
skipping around the rosie.
I'd add Tina, David, and Jason to the ensemble.
I'd have the rest of The Backyard Gang mentioned briefly.
I'd give Carlos and Kelly more lines to say, and have them stay on
screen with the other kids.
Before The Barney Bag pops out of the tree stump, I'd have
Barney say "This sounds like a job for...", and THEN the bag pops
out.
I'd have BJ whistle his signature whistle tune again, before he
makes his live entrance, so that Barney can have the audience
guess who it was.
After BJ's Song, and before The Winkster drops by again, I'd have
Barney, Baby Bop, and the kids fill BJ in as to what's going on.
With BJ's whistling tune playing as an underscore of course.

I'd have the songs Let's Play Together and The Elephant Song
debut in this concert.

Before Act 2 starts, I'd have Barney, Baby Bop, and BJ help get
the audience warmed up, by singing If You're Happy and You
Know It. And I'd use Barney's other costume performer Carey

Stinson for this song, so that his Barney could have a song
number to perform, while David Joyner's Barney gets ready for
HOME Act 2.
I'd have there be five little duckies instead of four. That way the
song could be sung as Five Little Ducks instead of just four.
GAMES I'd have Barney say his catchphrases, "Stu-u-upendous" and
"Super-Dee-Duper", in this concert.
I'd have The Barney Bag song sung as a reprise, before Barney
ANIME and the gang finally reveal the big surprise.
I'd include the song I Love You at the end of this concert. I'd erase
that 1994 lawsuit over the song. So that Barney could've sung it
MOVIES at the end of this concert, after the song Everyone is Special. The
rendition of I Love You that would've been featured on this show,
would've been exactly the same as the version first used in
TV
Barney's Magical Musical Adventure, as well as some Season 2
episodes, but with some added instruments. Of course with
Barney singing the first verse by himself, and THEN everyone else
VIDEO
joins him on the second verse.
After the I Love You song, I'd have it play as an underscore, when
Barney thanks the audience for watching the show. And THEN
WIKIS
the curtain call.
After the ending credits, I'd include a post-credits scene. Where
we see Barney and the gang in the backyard, reflecting on how

WIKI much fun they had performing their show for the audience. The
Winkster says goodbye to Barney and the gang, and thanks them
for accepting him as their new friend. He leaves, then Baby Bop
and BJ leave. Then the kids say goodbye to Barney and hug him
goodbye, then he turns back into a doll (the same one from
Season 2), then winks.
At the end of the video, I'd include previews for I Love To Read
With Barney, and Barney's Make-Believe Adventure.
