Loyalty can be described as an overwhelming inclination of help or allegiance. It is

important in every business and thus each party should strive to keep its loyalty to the other. This

however can only be done by undertaking several roles or tasks. Every company therefore has

number of obligations to it employees and the employees too have obligations to the company in

terms of loyalty.

Creating and supporting employee’s loyalty and making an organization an extraordinary

association that individuals need to work for can be done in a number of ways. One of the most

effective is planning exterior team building activities and brain storming games. Such events

should involve every member of the company. This helps in motivating the employees since they

see that they are valued by the company.

A company should ensure to involve its workers in decision making. Sometimes staffs

can be asked to give their opinions on some matters especially those that touch on their welfare

and working conditions. In matters such as giving promotions, personnel could be asked to

weigh on who they find most deserving the promotion. Such involvement will make the

employees feel as part of the company.

Increasing skills and promoting innovations is a sure way in which a company can

increase the loyalty if its personnel. Companies can call in experts to train its workforce on some

matters that could be of benefit to them. The employees should also be encouraged to come up

with ways of solving problems they face at the workplace.

An employee who is ethical owes the organization a decent day's worth of effort and their

best exertion, regardless of whether the labor is dull or stimulating. As the employee is expecting

to receive his due at the end of the agreed duration, he or she should ensure they do the task at

hand to the level that is expected. The employees too should ensure they respect the work of their

employer.

A worker has an obligation to act exclusively to help the business while taking part in any

conduct that identifies with the business. All that an employee obtains from the company by

ethicalness of their work, with the exception of remuneration, belong to the company, regardless

of whether procured during or after the term of work.

None of the obligations mentioned above will totally prevent a party from breaching their

loyalty duty. However, the employees and the company should strive to ensure they maintain

loyalty to each other. This ensures a favorable working condition and also prosperity of both

parties as well as peace of mind.
