Narrative Report
On February 7, 2023, at 2:00 pm, we performed some site selection, land preparation, and
clearing operations to prepare the area for the planting of forage and pastures. In the
Technological Livelihood Center, we do this activity under the Ma'am Myrna Guda subject of
Forage and pastures (TLC). The single most crucial element in producing fruit is site selection,
which has a significant impact on how effectively and abundantly fruit will develop. On
prospective productivity, the planting location can have a big impact. The best defense against
frost is offered by sloped terrain. The goal of land preparation is to create the required soil
conditions that will promote the effective establishment of the young offshoots or the tissue
culture plants acquired from the nursery. One cannot "save" on this operation and hope for the
plantation's long-term survival given the nature of the time. Land clearing is the development of
a piece of land with the goal of making it potentially suitable for agricultural use. Native
vegetation, such as trees, bushes, and stones, must be removed from the surface of the ground in
order to clean it. After that, the land is broken up to provide a useful bed into which a crop can
be sown.
This activity will be helpful to us as future farmers because it will enable us to identify the
factors that must be taken into account in order for plants or other crops to develop in accordance
with our planned plan. A well-planned garden is simpler to maintain. In comparison to an
unplanned garden, it is quicker and more fruitful. You should begin planning your garden well in
advance so that you are prepared to get to work once planting time arrives. It must be tilled early
in the spring if it wasn't done in the fall. Planning and careful site preparation are essential to the
success of your planting operation. Your new plantings need to be able to grow unhindered by
weeds and protected from pests in order to thrive. Plan your planting strategy far in advance of
when you want to plant. You have plenty of time to grow the plants you need or find them.
