1.2Please highlight the significant areas of strength in the management of this phase of the
project:

Effective communication and efficient cooperation were hallmarks of this project.

1.3Please highlight the significant opportunities for improvement in the management of this
phase of the project:

They got the money before they had a firm grasp on the price tag; therefore, the timeline could
have been better, and it took forever to settle on a rough completion date. The potential loss of
life makes risk management in such a large facility all the more crucial, yet effort was needed
to do so from a strategic vantage point. Inadequate planning could have been improved for the
project.
2. The Development Phase

2.2Please highlight the major areas of strength in managing this phase of the project.

As a direct result of the problems that arose with the architectural firm and everything that
transpired due to those problems, the administration of the finances, the time, and the human
resources were of the utmost importance.

2.3. Please highlight the major opportunities for improvement in the management of this
phase of the project:

The management of cost, time and human resources due to problems with the signing of architects and
everything that derived from it.
3. The Implementation Phase

3.2Please highlight the major areas of strength in the management of this phase of the
project:

The developed challenges were intricate and difficult to overcome, but they were dealt with
anyway. Despite the various unforeseen obstacles that emerged, it is to everyone's credit that
they could maintain the project's costs within acceptable limits. Once construction began,
everything proceeded well.

3.3Please highlight the major opportunities for improvement in the management of this phase
of the project:

The most promising avenue for development was the quality of communication. Better communication
handling during this project phase prevented many of the issues that arose.
4. The Closeout Phase

4.2Please highlight the major areas of strength in the management of this phase of the
project:

Contract management appears to have been successfully handled, notwithstanding the legal
challenges that followed the tower's construction. All significant technical and external risks
have been mitigated. However, the coordination, cooperation, and teamwork of many foreign
firms operating in such a novel framework have been excellent. Since cultural and personal
differences are bound to have a part in a project of this scale, it's encouraging to see that
overall communications management for the tower project was reasonably effective. Due to
the project's high profile, communications were much better throughout the shutdown period.
To a large extent, quality standards were met throughout the project.
4.3Please highlight the significant opportunities for improvement in the management of this
phase of the project:

When the tower did open, there were still unresolved concerns with financing and the elevator contractor. If
the initial tower project had merely involved design and proof of concept, costs would have been
manageable. Due to technical difficulties with the building's large glass elevators, the inauguration ceremony
—attended by dignitaries—had to be cancelled. It has been open for less than a hundred days, and already
there have been issues with damaged bearings at the foot of the scaffold. To go ahead financially, the
Center's administration laid off several workers in the summer of 2002, calling into doubt the reliability of
everyone engaged with the project's initial planning, cost estimates, risk assessments, and risk management.
Several setbacks have prevented the tower's official opening to the public and the project's successful
completion. Problems with the tower project's leadership may be traced to poor forethought, coordination,
and communication. To a large extent, quality standards were met throughout the project. However, the
project's final release appears to lack quality control. Cooperation wouldn't have been as much of an issue if
suitable project management approaches had been implemented.

5.2Please highlight the major areas of strength in the management of this
project:

The team's consistent response to preexisting issues is the single most impressive
facet of Project management. For example, although the team recognised early
on that the project's initial scope, focus, and planning needed to be improved,
they worked tirelessly to address these issues and see the project through to its
conclusion. Moreover, he unified and effectively communicated with a global
network of suppliers and partners. Finally, quality on a technical level should be
highlighted, focusing on consistent adherence to ISO standards.

5.3Please highlight the significant opportunities for improvement in the

management of this project:

As early as the project's inception, room for advancement is provided. Initially,

sloppy execution led to a domino effect of problems for the project. In contrast,
the project's overall planning could have been improved, leading to missed
deadlines and overruns in both time and money. In the same way, the project
needed to be correctly closed in terms of quality. However, security issues that
still needed to be anticipated during Project planning emerged later.

5.4Please highlight the central project management lessons learned from this
project:

Correctly understanding the project's scope, risks, costs, and planning is the
primary takeaway. Action can only be taken once all questions have been
answered and all concerns have been addressed to everyone's satisfaction.
Spending time at the end of the project to evaluate its aspects is also crucial for
the success of the delivered product to ensure that defects do not arise later.
