AMT 700A
“Educational Pneumatic system trainer”
BSAMT 4-I
I. PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Page 2
II. BACKGROUND / SITUATIONAL ANALYSIS
The Pneumatic System Trainer would serve as an introduction to the students of WCC
Aeronautical and Technological College-North Manila Campus in terms of operating and
servicing a fully functional and portable Pneumatic System of heavy-body aircraft.
Students are constantly encouraged to use a pneumatic system trainer to get hands-on experience
with a fully functional pneumatic system because factors including the guidelines can affect the
student's performance when repairing the aircraft moveable parts. It will be helpful to see
whether the pneumatic system will function properly.
This study focuses on the rationale for designing and building one portable pneumatic trainer to
teach students how to operate basic pneumatic systems. This research will benefit not only the
students of WCC aeronautical & technological college but also the new enrollees who are
aspiring to be an aircraft technician.
III. PROJECT OBJECTIVES
Objectives
1) Project aims to develop teamwork and coordination among the students which is critical
when working in the aviation industry.
3) Project aims to show what the students have learned from their past subjects related to this
project
Strategies
1) Set definite expectations. Students must be made aware of expectations before we can count
on them to work effectively in groups.
4) Reports on the team's individual actions. A logical schedule to adhere to is also included.
Page 3
IV. DESIRED IMPACT AND OUTCOME OF THE PROJECT
● What are the long-term effects of the projects? (Economic, social, cultural,
institutional, environmental, technological, etc.)
● The project will allow students and instructors to obtain more expertise while also
providing benefits to the CEAT Department in terms of initial costs, maintenance, and
how it operates. The project will benefit sectors that focus primarily on heavy machinery
to get the operation done efficiently, particularly the aviation industry. This can also be
used as a future reference for students in the basic to intermediate levels who will be
conducting relevant research on the Pneumatic System.
● Upon finishing the project and turning it over to the school, a proper and regular
maintenance of the project will make it last for many years. Caring properly for the
project is a must and following the directions given on the manual provided will surely
prolong the life and its proper function.
● What are the linkages with other initiatives or reforms in the sector and other
development or governance concerns?
● The project is done in compliance with the requirement of our subject AMT 700. It will
be both beneficial to students and instructors. It allows students to be educated using an
accurate depiction of a pneumatic system that has a sole purpose of training and further
aid in developing skills of students.
This project will show that the school is innovative and continues to find the best
methods in educating its students. A pneumatic system trainer will allow students to
better visualize and study the system.

What are the risks and factors that may hamper or hinder the successful implementation of
project activities and achievement of project outputs?
-The project's implementation may be hampered by a lack of accountability, and if there is a
shortage of personnel, the project's completion time may be doubled.
What are the measures that would mitigate the adverse effects resulting from such risks?
-Assigning tasks in advance, keeping tabs on each team working on the project, and holding
regular meetings to discuss the progress and handle any concerns
