Digestive system – it is composed of
organs working together to get
nutrients from the food we eat.

Mouth – it is where food is


mechanically digested by chewing or
mastication
Esophagus – it contracts in a rhythmic
and wavelike motion to push the
chewed food in the stomach
Stomach – it temporarily expand to
store food
Small intestine – it add substance in the
chyme to break down food further and
it also absorbs nutrients from the food
and prepares it for circulation
throughout the body
Large intestine – it is where the water
from the undigested food is absorbed
Rectum and anus – they act as a
temporary storage for the feces or
waste materials before they are
excreted.

digestive process, we learned from the
video that the digestion starts in the
mouth and then to the esophagus,
stomach, small intestine,large intestine
and lastly to the rectum and anus.

3.Avoid eating too much spicy and fatty
foods.
