SLK - POM Pressure Control Equipment (Section 4)
PCE Slickline/Digital Line Overview: Section 4.1
The purpose and objective of Section 4 is to guide and regulate the choice of
Pressure Control Equipment for Slickline/Digital Line operations.
The choice will be made according to:
Well head pressure origin.
Well head pressure actual or possible value.
Working environment.
Type of operation.
Pressure Operations are divided into 3 different operating conditions:
Surface Induced and Wellsite Controlled with WHP > 1 psi
Reservoir Induced with WHP = 0, but contingency cases could lead to a WHP > 1
psi
Reservoir Induced Pressure with WHP > 1 psi

All pressure-bearing screwed connections made-up on the well site must have an
O-ring seal.
Only ½ inch NPT (maximum) threaded ports are accepted for manifold
connections up to 10k WP
Above 10K WP, engineer fittings (autoclave) must be used
One single API crossover is permitted, fitted between the client xmas tree and our
Wireline Valve but its use is strongly discouraged. It must be reserved for
situations where there is no other alternative: Section 4.3.1 API Threaded
