To the empowered women, trainers, facilitators, girl scout titas, namely Tita Nanay Lina Eduave , Tita

Christy Bing Damasco, , Tita Sue Susan Saa, Tita Pearl Wales, Tita Lani Lunsayan, Tita Rhodelia Copino,
Tita Lourdes Dela Cruz and to all my fellow titas, , ladies and ladies good afternoon.

One of the goals or objectives of Girl Scout Basic Training Course Bukidnon Council is to provide
adequate learning, new opportunities and provide girl scouts the skills to sustain the everyday life and
challenge in the organization

After having attended this two day basic training course , I would like to ask everyone if we are
ready for the challenge? Are we willing to accept the challenge? Are we ready to step forward and apply
what he learned yesterday and today? And my answer to this question is YES, I will accept the challenge
and the change together with you all. If we are going to help hand in hand , and then we can sing the gsp
song we love “ we can change the world”.

This 2-day gsp training caters our needs in updating and adapting ways to start and to finish a
challenge. Our virtual training was well organized and informative to us. From the history of girl guides
to girl scouting program we were taken to the past and managed to find out the roots of our
organization. The five basic essential of girl guiding and girl scouting such as Patrol system, badgework,
out doors, international friendships , promise and law are the things must possess and must practice.
The badgework and the badges that symbolize a girl’s hardwork, accomplished task, and commitment to
the challenge.

Being a troop leader is not as simple as a leader who leads but a leader who inspires, innovates,
motivates, disciplines and understands.

This training is not just an avenue of learning but reunion of relationships in the past. Personally
I considered it as a reunion because again I met my mentors, my titas way back when I was still aspiring
to become a chief girl scout medalist. I know one day when this pandemic will come to its end, we will
see each other again not virtually but personally.

This training has come to an end but the learnings are never ending. To our Titas who facilitated,
trained and shared their knowledge from session 1 to session 5, thank you so much. I hope you will
always help us in finding our path not just during the trainings but also in the future. To my co-
participants, thank you for your cooperation for making this training a success. Again, thank you and
have a good day.
