Theme: The Word leads to the WAY the TRUTH and the LIFE

Verse: John 14:6, "Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one
comes to the Father except through me.”

INTRODUCTION:
• Alam nyo ba na mataas ang kaso ng DIGITAL FRAUD sa bansa. Digital Fraud
simply means “SCAM”.
• Digital fraud in the logistics sector jumped by 236 percent in the second quarter
of 2022; telecommunications, up by 45 percent; and gambling, up by 32 percent.
• SCAM is everywhere. I’ve also heard a testimony of a scam victim, at sabi niya,
when the person talk to her, para daw talaga siyang may pwersa na makinig
dahil pinupuntirya daw ng scammer yung area ng buhay natin na HINDI NATIN
ALAM.
• TRUTH IS VERY ESSENTIAL IN OUR JOURNEY WITH GOD. The Bible tells us that
knowing the truth will SET US FREE. John 8:32, “Then you will know the truth,
and the truth will set you free.”
• Kapag hindi natin alam ang katotohanan, pwede tayong madaya ng mabulaklak
na salita, even signs and wonders, pwedeng gamitin ng kaaway. Maraming area
sa buhay natin na dapat nating pag-aralan dahil kapag HINDI NATIN alam,
pwedeng magamit ng kaaway upang tayo ay mailigaw sa maling katuruan.
• Bakit ko po kayo pinadala ng Physical Bible?
• You know why? Even the bible, ginagamit na rin para mang daya. There are
many reported counterfeit bibles na nag cicirculate ngayon and if not counterfeit
may mga bible publishing ngayon na they omit important verses and words,
yung iba, iniiba nila for us to have wrong interpretation. (In fact, there at least
64,000 WORDS MISSING IN NIV BIBLE)

(NIV SAYING THE OPPOSITE)

• Prone ang mga taong, SELECTIVE. They only select verses that will support their
desires and wants.
A. SO WHAT IS THE TRUTH? The Truth is JESUS HIMSELF.

John 1:14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His
glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

1. The first step on the way of truth is taken when Jesus shines His light
into our lives and we acknowledge that we are sinners in need of
forgiveness, atonement, and justification. This causes us to repent.
- Maraming tao na kapag inapproach mo, sasabihin nilang kilala naman
nila ang Diyos; nag pe-pray naman sila; etc.
- Even Christians, many claims that they are believer of Christ pero ang
tunay na naligtas ay yaong
- A. Acknowledgement that he/she is sinners
- B. Need of forgiveness
- C. Atonement and Justification through JESUS
- D. Repentance

2. The next step is that He shows us that, even though we are forgiven, we
still have sin in the flesh, and we have to acknowledge that we ourselves
are powerless to overcome when we are tempted to give in to the sin that
is so rooted in us as human beings. When we humble ourselves to
acknowledge this truth about ourselves then the Holy Spirit can fill us,
enlightening us, leading us, and giving us the strength and power that we
lack in ourselves so that we can keep all that God commands us – we
can give up our own will and do His will instead. In other words, we can
get victory over the lusts of the flesh which lead to sin.

“And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an
understanding, that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him
who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.”
1 John 5:20.

THE WHOLE POINT OF THE TRUTH IS THE VISIBLE TRANSFORMATION

IN US.

“For I rejoiced greatly when brethren came and testified of the truth that
is in you, just as you walk in the truth. I have no greater joy than to hear
that my children walk in truth.” 3 John 3-4.
 There is no greater blessing, than to walk in the truth. This means to
acknowledge it, then we are in constant development, constant progress,
continuous sanctification, and continuous transformation into the image
of Christ.

B. WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF KNOWING THE TRUTH?

1. Knowledge of Truth makes one free from the bonds of ignorance.

This ignorance leads to…

1. It promotes man-made religion.

a) Cf. (Romans 10:1-3 NKJV)

2. It promotes idol worship.

a) (Acts 17:23 NKJV)
b) Cf. (Romans 1:21-23 NKJV)

3. Ignorance:
a) Hinders “faith” – i.e. Romans 10:17
b) Promotes division.
c) Makes men susceptible to false doctrine.
d) Hinders obedience – one can’t do by faith what they don’t know to do!
2. Knowledge of Truth makes one free from the doctrines of men.

• Maraming mga man-made doctrines ngayon. Mga interpretation na our of

the context at hindi naming halimbawang ipinakita at hinalimbawa ni Jesus.

Examples:
• Snake Handlers & faith healing
Mark 16:18, ESV: they will pick up serpents with their hands; and if they drink
any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick,
and they will recover.” –

• Calvinism (“one cannot fall from grace and be lost”)

KAPATID, There will be a lot of twisted doctrine and wrong interpretations

that will come specially this time that we know na malapit na ang Diyos
dumating.

Even this materialistic world is enticing us to prioritize the less important

rather than God. It is summarize in the word BUSY..

CONCLUSION:

• We must want and love the truth … above all else and at any expense!

• We must apply truth to everything, live it, teach it, defend it!
