Bui Vien Walking Street
Bui Vien Walking Street
If Hanoi has Ta Hien beer street famous as a street that never sleeps, Saigon is no less
competitive with the presence of Bui Vien pedestrian street. The street is not only an
attraction for Saigon people but also attracts many foreign tourists to have fun every
weekend. Located in the center of District 1 - a famous place for entertainment. Bui Vien
Walking Street became the second pedestrian street, only after Nguyen Hue Walking
Street. Although famous for its festive atmosphere, to attract more people, a few things
need to be evaluated.
The problem of littering is always a painful problem for all public places. So is Bui Vien
walking street. The fact that there are many people eating and drinking, they will
conveniently throw garbage on the street and so many people, this place will soon
become stinky and unhygienic. This will become a huge minus point for Vietnam in the
eyes of foreign tourists. The solution to this problem is to put a lot of trash cans along
the road, or next to each shop, besides to increase the vigilance for people, we will add

ensure a fresh space, without affecting children. Besides, for those who like food but do
The last thing to mention is about the nameplate of the street. The nameplate is the first
thing people see when entering the neighborhood. The nameplate here, perhaps due to
being in operation for many years, seems old and unattractive. The lettering of the sign
seems to be quite small to be recognisable. Similar to the color, the color is dark and
gloomy while the atmosphere of the neighborhood is always bustling and cheerful.
Therefore, the nameplate here needs to be made larger, decorated with many images
and colors. Fonts also need to be stylized so as not to be boring. Besides, the
nameplate should include both Vietnamese name and English name: "Pho di bo Bui
Vien" and "Bui Vien Walking Street" as this area is loved and lived by many foreigners.
That way people can pay attention and not miss the street when passing by.
Just a few small changes: more green space, more garbage places and changing signs;
