This study aims to presume the significance of social media in Senior high school students as a tool for
the student’s learning.
The researchers have sought to assess the educational benefits that social media has delivered to Senior
High School students.
This research aims to incorporate the advantages that students gain from using social media in school
contexts.
Proponent Theory:
Self-Efficacy Theory: This theory is intended to investigate empirically the value and use of social media
as a learning tool for academic purposes. It investigates the impact of social media use on the academic
performance of university students. It also examines the role of academic self-efficacy in the relationship
between social media use and academic achievement. The theory also looks into the role of innovation
traits in the relationship between social media use and academic self-efficacy and performance. This
theory explains that an individual's belief in his or her capacity to execute behaviours necessary to
produce specific performance attainments, therefore, as senior high students obtain self-efficacy from
the internet, they are more likely to embody this theory to improve their academic performance.
