Q1. What are the types of curricula that are being used inside the classroom?
I am aware of the different curricula, but I can only recall some of it, the different curricula that
I remembered are the electronic curriculum, I often used this in presenting my lesson, the
concomitant curriculum where the knowledge is acquired outside the classroom, the null
curriculum which is not taught in class and it is believed to be irrelevant to the educational
process of the learners, also the societal curriculum where the social media platforms have a
significant impact on learners which helps learners examine and evaluate diverse perspective,
and the curriculum that I always apply is the assessed curriculum because it helps me to
monitor my student’s progress by conducting assessment. I believe that all of those are present
and used inside my classroom. I’ve been using these curriculums throughout my teaching
experience and I witnessed that my students learned best and learned effectively.

Q2. Define what curriculum is

Curriculum pertains to the lessons that are taught in the classroom. It acts as an outline for us
teachers in determining what is relevant and essential for student learning and experiences and
to be honest it is very helpful for us teachers especially me who handled high school students.

Q1. What are the types of curricula that are being used inside the classroom?
The different curriculum has a significant role in the teaching process, I incorporated a variety
of curriculum to support the learning of my students. I have used the supported curriculum,
written curriculum and the assessed curriculum inside the classroom by incorporating these
curricula I observed that I have met the expected learning outcomes.

Curriculum is an academic content that has been used in every institution and it’s a very special
and significant tool or guide for every teacher in giving lessons inside the classroom.
