    Script Markers’ Comments

    PSY354 Counselling Psychology in Singapore

    Q1
    - Many could not really explain what is OCD.
    - Some decided to discuss CBT techniques and not EXRP as instructed specifically.
    - MSE was not always well done. Categories seem to be misunderstood.
    - Suicide-risk assessment questions were not always specific to the scenario.

    Q2
    - Most students did a good job in this question.
    - Students were able to address each issue individually and each way of managing the
    issue individually, and gave responses specific to the scenario.

    Q3
    - Questions did not always fit the stages.
    - Questions should not be confrontational and judgmental.
    - Explanation of how the client may behave at each stage was not always done.
    - Some students tended to have generic questions and/or repeat questions for the various
    stages.

    Overall comments
    - It is important to answer every part of the question.
