I. Objectives
At the end of the lesson, the learners are expected to:
1. identify the different shapes of the body
2. discuss the importance of complementing the trouser with the body
shape
3. choose the best style of trouser based on the body shape

II. Subject Matter


Lesson/Topic : Designs of Ladies Trousers
Materials Needed :
 PowerPoint Presentation and/or any type of LMs with illustrations
 Paper and pen

III. Procedure

A. Review/ Preparatory Activity/ Motivation


Provide students with a diagnostic test to check students’ prior knowledge
about producing ladies’ trousers. The teacher may use the pretest from
the SLM module 1.

B. Presentation and Discussion of the Lesson


Presentation and discussion of the lesson on Designs of Ladies Trousers
pp. 5-6.

C. Generalization:
The teacher will ask a question.

- Why is it important to complement the trousers with your body shape?

In ¼ sheet of paper, identify what shape of body is suited base on the
description.

1. Wide leg lining trousers is also good for this body shape.
2. High-waist and wide-legged trousers underline the curvaceous body
and are of great style options.
3. A pair of boots- cut jeans will help this body shape looks slimmer and
create a line waist down. Skinny jeans or trousers should be avoided.
4. Trousers should be in classic style with flat fronts, and not extra from
zips, pleats or gathers.
5. Low rise, skinny trousers, and wider legs are best for this shape.
6. It is best to wear a trouser with the straight leg.
