ABOUT PRIMARY SECTION

The aim of Primary School Education at our school is to instill a love

for lifelong learning in children which will express itself in an enquiring
mind and a heightened curiosity. We place a particular emphasis on
promoting the ability to think critically, to apply learning and to develop
flexibility and creativity among children. We work with our students to
enable them to communicate confidently and effectively and to
develop the critical skills to respond to a range of information with
understanding and enjoyment. At Primary level, children are provided
with opportunities and are granted the possibilities to expand upon
their creativity adding to their experiences.
Our curriculum sets clear learning objectives and focuses on
developing knowledge and skills in all subjects. We, at Primary section,
always strive to provide a rich learning environment for all students.
We work with our students, to help them learn about the world around
them through the prescribed curriculum, and lend them support as
they attempt to reach their learning goals. Extra-Curricular activities
are not considered as additional or extra to the curriculum. In fact, the
existence of the word ‘curricular’ itself tells that these activities or
experiences are a part of the curriculum or an extension of the
curriculum. All such activities are provided to complement the learning
process.
SCHOLASTIC AND CO-SCHOLASTIC ACTIVITIES
The school has designed various scholastic and co-scholastic activities
for each class. These provide opportunities for children to experiment
and grow into unique personalities. These activities enable students to
develop life skills through experiential learning. We expect our students
to enthusiastically take part in all activities being conducted in the
forthcoming academic session.
CLUB ACTIVITIES:
CBSE has been emphasizing upon the Co- Scholastic
development of the child along with the Scholastic achievements.
Keeping this in view, we would be having Art/Music/Dance and
Sports Club activities.

VIOLATION OF THE CODE OF CONDUCT

The school adopts a positive/constructive approach to the
management of discipline wherein the students would willingly accept
the norms of conduct of the school and commit to behave or act in
an appropriate or desirable manner, leading to their academic
excellence and overall development rather than unwillingly complying
with the rules because of fear or threat of punishment. In spirit of
this approach, the school would strive to create a teaching – learning
environment conducive to encourage self-discipline among the
students. The school would also make attempt to understand the
cause of problem behaviours among children, and counsel them
appropriately. However if the misconduct occurs despite the above
measures, the school would be obliged to take punitive action for the
purpose of deterrence and in the larger interest of the school
/community. Discipline committee has the authority to take the final
