AN ORDINANCE PRESCRIBING AND FIXING THE RATES AND RENTAL FEES,

INCLUDING IMPOSING PENALTIES AND/OR OTHER PECUNIARY FINES ON THE
USE OF THE SIWAWER EVENTS PLACE, LOCATED IN BARANGAY 10,
PARPAROROC IN VINTAR, ILOCOS NORTE.

WHEREAS, presented and considered for deliberation before the Sangguniang Bayan of
this Municipality, in session assemble was the issue on the prescribed and fixed rates and rental
fees – including imposing penalties and/or other pecuniary fines on the use of the Umok ni
Siwawer Events Place in Vintar, Ilocos Norte;

WHEREAS, prescribing fixed rates and rental fees cover the use of the event’s place in a
prescribed time and such additional period of use incurs additional charges as prescribed by this
Ordinance;

WHEREAS, the prescribed fixed-rate covers the following:

 For over a minimum up to maximum use of 4 hours is equivalent to Php

4,000.00
 For every additional hour exceedingly shall be rated as Php 500.00
 The fixed rate includes the use of the venue and electricity
 Any damage caused by the use of the venue shall be accounted for properly
and will be charged against the lessee of the venue

WHEREAS, the Municipal Tourism Office shall manage the operation and control of the
Siwawer Events Place and oversees the proper implementation of this ordinance and all the
guidelines, rules, and regulations relative to the use of the place of the event;

WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Bayan as the policy-making body shall recommend the
necessary rules and regulations and guidelines for proper, effective, and efficient implementation
of this ordinance;

WHEREAS, the Municipal Government expects to gain liberal returns of the

investments spent over the maintenance and operation of the said event’s place;

RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that this ordinance shall take effect

upon the approval of the Sangguniang Bayan and in accordance with the approval of the
reviewing committee and upon compliance with Section 511 of the Local Government Code of
1991.
