Overview

The purpose of this project is:

 To identify highway signs from images of road signs.

For this task:

 You will be shown an image with a road sign(s). You will need to identify whether the
sign is a highway sign or not.
 Use your local knowledge to identify the highway signs found in your country.

Definitions
A highway sign is roadside sign boards which have information about highway entry points,
exits, and transitions. Such information is to be used in directions routing to provide detailed
instructions such as “Take Exit 160 to Main Street”.

Steps
On every page, you will be shown 1 image with a road sign. You will be prompted to:

Identify whether the road sign shown in the image is a highway sign or not. Zoom in the images
for more clarity (if required). To answer, use 1 of the 3 possible options:

  Label   Definition

YES  Yes, this road sign is a highway sign.

NO  No, this road sign is not a highway sign or the image does not contain any sign.

CANNOT VERIFY
There is not enough information to answer the question due to reasons such as th
too blurry or has obstacles.

Rules and Tips
 Highway signs usually contain multiple components such as exit numbers, route
numbers/names, and destination names to which the highway connects to either directly
or indirectly.
 These signs are often located at entry or exit ramps connecting to or from highways, and
major junctions and interchanges where multiple highways connect.
 Any sign that is simply on a highway or a highway marker should be rated as NO,
because it does not provide the information that a driver needs to make a decision on
their route.
 For a YES rating, the text on an exit sign could be  a) street name  b) town/city name  c)
another route name or route number. An exit sign showing exit distance should NOT be
considered as a "sign for distance". Exit signs for highways help drivers make decisions
about their route.
Q1: Is it true that for any exit sign, even if it does not direct to a highway, it should be
rated as YES ?
