Line graph sample:

The given graph illustrates the amount of chicken, beef, lamb and fish consumed
per person per week over a course of 25 years starting from 1979.
As can be seen from the chart, it is clearly evident that the patterns of meat
consumption greatly differed over the time frame. While the amount of chicken
eaten witnessed an upward trend, that of beef and lamb tended to decrease and the
fish consumption remained relatively unchanged throughout the studied period.
In 1979, the beef consumption registered the highest of all four, standing at over
200 grams. By 2004, the number had considerably declined to nearly 100 grams. A
similar trend could be seen in the amount of lamb eaten, as it had fallen from 150
grams to about 60 grams by the end of the period.
At the beginning of the period, the chicken consumption was reported to be around
140 grams. This figure then rose significantly to approximately 250 grams in 2004.
An opposite pattern could be observed in the amount of fish consumed, as it stayed
the same, hovering around 50 grams per person per week.
