Óscala is a Dutch/Spanish supplier of nearshore software engineering services.

The company
is HQ based in Haarlem (NL) and has a Software Development Center in the city center of
Valencia.

Óscala works for a growing list of reputable clients in The Netherlands and surrounding
countries. We offer our clients additional (remote) capacity so they can continue to build
their state-of the-art software solutions, web applications, mobile apps and alike.

Each Óscala Software Developer works exclusively for one client and is an integral part of
their Software Development team - working closely and on a daily basis together with Tech
Leads, Architects and other colleagues of the IT team in The Netherlands (or Germany or
Belgium).

To facilitate the needs of our employees Óscala operates on a hybrid office model, meaning
working (partly) from our Development center and/or a few days per week from a home
office.

Front-end (Angular) Developer

Our client:

Founded in 2003 with headquarters in Berlin, Würzburg and New York, our client develops
and distributes a business and workflow management software, one of the world's leading
management solutions for the translation and localization industry.

The job:

Your tasks are broadly diversified. Develop yourself and your frontend competence in our
team and individually, working on these topics, among others:

• Implementation of front-end applications with innovative user interfaces,

• Design of solutions and creation of software and system architectures,
• Implementation of user interface designs using modern technologies,
• Contribute to the creation, documentation and specification of our solutions,
• Coordination with product, QA and our specialist departments,
• Integration of the company’s Business Manager into and connection to other
systems.
What we are looking for:

- + 3 years of experience in Angular development

- Experience with: Angular, TypesScript, Java, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS and SCSS
- Working with IDEs (Webstorm, IntelliJ)
- Version management with Git (Gitlab)
- Experience with Jira or similar issue trackers
- You have experience with agile working methods like Scrum or Kaban

Nice to have:

- You have an understanding of the interaction between frontend and backend

- You have an interest and flair for UI and UX topics and a desire to work with these
teams
- You have a good eye for design & user interactions
- You have experience in prototyping
